Actually, I think Yao's turnovers in the 1st quater slowed down the game. ;)

Francis showed T-mac how to finish a close game by going to the hoop. Hope it rubs off and T-mac tries it next time.

Clearly playing Francis is making the other guards play better as well. He's wearing off on them.

And if Francis can shoot .500 every night like he's been doing, thats all the rockets need.

Steve's drive at the end of the game and subsequent defensive hussle brought me tears, reminding me of the old Rox days where heart was always there. I said many times before and I will say it again, it takes tremendous heart to win championships. Steve has it.

    7. We also beat the Suns + referees !!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I'm sick of these gambling referees trying to rig the games. The FBI needs to be pushed to investigate this game!!!! Nash obviously kicked Yao and there was no call? BS!!! Take that refs! Rockets beat the Suns and you stupid refs!!!!! TAKE THAT!!!!!!!!!

Francis has earned the "best PG" title but is this really an accomplishment??? It really doesn't take much to beat out Wafer and James. Basically, if you can keep TO low, pass the ball to TMAC/Yao, and shoot higher than 40%, you're the best PG on the rockets.

I know you mean well, but hush with the benching Tracy McGrady talk. 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and a block and a steal. Even when he's off, the other team has to account for him.

I agree with you about Bonzi...Francis should get a lot of his minutes.

    -Great win on Sun's court.
-Awsome performance on both offense and defense end.
    -Alston made 3 3pts in a row.
-Francis get chance to play and contribute huge at crunch ending up with 7 assists.(team high)
    -YAO outplayed Stoudermire.

What else can I expect out of this game?
    IT'S PERFECT!

I like how the second unit is catching other teams off-guard, like at the beginning of the season, but the added element now is SF and the double PG attack. TMac did not want the ball in the last minute, maybe cause he knew his FTs weren't falling, so that was a perfect time to have SF around in the waning minutes, cause he can always root his way around to the hoop... This team is deep, and will hopefully be able to handle back-to-back games better because of it. Maybe we'll see Deke, Head, and Snyder some in the next game.

It seems like the new system is allowing Yao to more efficiently expend his energy. I don't know if you have noticed, but he's doing a lot more flashing in the post as opposed to just waiting to get the ball like he use to.

Now everyone, we have to admit Rafer played a great game. Don't overlook his play. His back to back 3's took the momentem away from Phoenix. He had some good drives and some good mid range passes. I like how Adelman got all three of the guards good minutes. Francis played well with James or Alston with him.
Great game. I would say best game the rockets have played in three years

It isn't really an "accomplishment". But you gotta realize that playing behind Wafer and James is just pathetic for Ste-vieeee.

BIG NEWS: I see signs of coaching, which means that there is still life left in Coach 'A'. I see adjustments and more flexability! I see progress and my hopes are again running high!!Very glad to see Yao getting involved again!!:p

Eat it Stephen Campbell! His column today made me so mad, not only because I like Francis but it just sounded pretentious. Do you really need to refer to the Stockholm syndrome in an article about basketball?

Great game all around. I really hope this trend of Steve and Alston playing well continues.
