to beat the suns, you MUST score. the spurs run against the suns too. just play defense down the stretch. those games are typically high scoring games. we have to keep scoring and then go into shut down defense mode in the 4th. we have to run tmac off the screens. putting marion on him at the elbow makes it harder b/c marion is taller and the help D is coming sooner on his drive now.
Called in a question to Morey on 610 this morning - he said they know Tmac as well as Yao has a problem getting fouls called on his defenders and they are talking to the league. This game is just more of the same. Tmac and Bonzi both did not get back quick enough on D because they were complaining about non calls. The refs suck. But then if Tmac had hit a few more FTs we would have a bigger lead. Stevie is great, Rafer bringing it on as well. I think with Stevie playing a more disciplined game it is making Rafer and MJ both get more focused and disciplined as well. Who woulda ever thought Stevie would be the leader by example in this way? Glad to see him bringing it - he is making this team so much better. Looking forward to seeing this team at xmas time. Scola looks good, Bonzi needs to play with more discipline and focus, get his shot back.
