Man if we had this roster, how crazy would that be: Kevin Durant Alperen Sengun Amen Thompson Fred VanVleet Jabari Smith Jr. Dillon Brooks Steven Adams Dorian Finney-Smith Tari Eason Josh Okogie Clint Capela Reed Sheppard I gotta say, that team seems REEEEALLY hard to beat. So much defense! Just to piss off the other coach you throw out: Amen Thompson Tari Eason Dorian Finney- Smith Josh Okogie Dillon Brooks LORD ALMIGHTY!!
tried to take a short pregame nap which accidentally turned into a long pregame nap I slept through the entire game looks like we played well tho and handled business pretty easily
On the Peacock broadcast, all of the BS visuals like player names and green crap after makes...I absolutely hated it. I also didn't care for the bench broadcasters either. On the other hand, Jamal Crawford is really good in the booth. I thought it was weird when he got hired for the gig, but he's excellent. I hope he moves up the ladder to more prominent broadcasts in the future.
get off my dick. amen got his head out of his ass at halftime. ime talked to him. im still gonna be on amen's neck. just because i criticize players doesn't mean i dont like them. i like all the player rockets have picked in the draft. **** i still like Jalen green trash hoops.
Man watching that game made me miss Dillon Brooks. I hope he comes back one day even if its in a lesser role/coaching role. Dillon never backs down even on a second night of a B2B. If Amen can perfect that little midrange jumper its over for the league.
When Dillon is the guy getting most shots and more than Booker then you know it was a good night. Amen showing everything and the way he and our team shares the ball is beautiful. Ime trusting Aaron & Davison is nice too. Suns b2b but still, first time without KD against a team on a roll, that’s well earned!
Lmao, they were mostly within 12-14 pts distance so they lacked superstar scoring the most, and Dillon provided that replacement. But how are they faring with a better record than with a Durant led Suns, that is the real question Durant has to ask himself.
Thoughts vs. Suns: I loved this game and this team. Without KD, every single player knew they had to bring something extra. For the most part, the refs swallowed their whistles and let defenders get away with a lot. I’m surprised more tempers didn’t flair. I’m not surprised one bit Amen is the one who leveled up the most. The guy was an absolute terror to the Suns on both ends of the floor. Booker attacked him only once, in the 4th quarter in desperation when the game was basically out of reach. His aggression on offense was the straw that stirred the drink, scoring and dishing. He must continue taking shots from 15-ft and closer. On the defensive glass, there is no other player on the Rockets I want with two mitts on the ball more than Amen; that includes Adams and Alpi. When Holiday has his feet set, he is a sniper. I am so glad he’s on this team. He doesn’t complain or whine about playing time, he just answers when called. Alpi’s shooting was efficient and his box score looks good, but I thought he played soft in the 1st half and did NOT make up for it in the 2nd half as he often does. He could have attacked more often and more quickly once he got the ball. He let Amen run the offense, but it worked out fine. Jabari was his own worst enemy in the 1st half sometimes but DB ticked him off so much, he woke up and played very well in an intense, physical game. He can do this when his mind is right. Reed’s shot wasn’t falling, but he had some creative assists and his hands gave the Suns perimeter guys a lot of trouble. 27 mins in this type of environment was plenty of seasoning for him. Okogie REALLY annoyed Booker. His arm length and physicality gave him problems and Okogie always kept touching Booker whether he had the ball or not, even during dead balls. Booker didn’t like it. He does this to bother other guys too. There was lots of love between Rockets players and DB after the game, especially Fred and Amen. Good to see.
I think he maps out the lineup/rotations before the game and sticks to it no matter what. And then they study the game tape and make adjustments for the next game.
Maybe it's the right time to trade Sengun and build around Amen. Last 2 games have indicated to that. Yes.
What a great fun win! Really great effort to win short-handed on the road against an 11-6 team. Amen was incredible. Could this be a nightly.occurance for him in 2-3 years time? Okogie was relentless Holiday was in the zone Smith was amazing after his first stint. Everyone else great too! Alpy didn't even have to over-exert himself
