I didn't think this was possible, but Ron Artest has worse shot selection than Tracy McGrady.

damn yao aint that bad at the interview..

alot better than your typical jock-talk interviews ("we gotta have heart.. we gotta be hungry.. blah blah"). I liked how yao said "we need to have the defenders shrink in and collapse". very nice..

The biggest difference in tonights game is Yao not playing like he is stuck in mud. 11 first half rebounds?

There are not many plays ran for Yao nowadays, and double teams came much quicker because no one else can hit open shot.

I really like Yao's effort on the boards. His focus should be defense and rebounding...we have other guys who can score on this team.

I agree, Barry is just useless. Hes way overrated. Why isn't Wafer in the second unit? He'd do much better than Barry I think.

2 days rest helped a little?

in post plays in offense, he still doesn't have the strength he used to have in the past though.

It's still somewhat mystifying as to how Shaq, pushing 40, is still able to give Yao so much trouble.

As for Artest, can't say I didn't see this coming. Artest just doesn't quite 'fit' with the starting unit. It's like Pippen with Dream/Chuksta all over again. Not to worry, though, the solution is simple: let him play with the second unit. It would be a perfect fit for all involved, and the team would be better for it. Only one catch: Artest will need to swallow his pride to make it work. But if he goes along with it, he himself will be -- perhaps -- the biggest beneficiary; a Sixth Man Award might be in the cards for him...

Does it have something to do with Yao always deferring to Scola on defensive rebounds? And tonight Scola couldn't hit the jumper to keep himself on the court.

QFT. Doesn't everyone think they'd make a better coach then RA at times?
