You just hope that Ariza can pick it up at some point and have a good balanced game seems like an endless road to nowhere.
When Ariza isn't being asked to do things he can't do, I think I'll like him a lot better. He did make some nice shots this half; I can vaguely remember what I liked about him from last year. Hopefully next year we'll be seeing him do that for us...only better because he's all "developed".
At what point is it enough for the Ariza-experiment? I seriously doubt Morey on this one. When things are not working, you try to push and when the push is not working too, should they at least try to try another way instead of sticking to the original plan of putting this man in a star position
Okay I just got around to watching this game (as the first half was about to end)......how the HELL this this happen? Let me guess.......Ariza.........benched?!?
Exactly. There was a famous anecdote where Pippen started arguing with Jordan during a team practice, and Jordan responded by schooling Pippen one-on-one by draining basket after basket right in his face until Pippen didn't want any part of it. (True story). We need a true superstar to 'Jordan' Ariza.
This battriza combo is beginning to falter. They can't co-exist on offense, I can say similar with both supposedly staying at the 3 point line to shoot or drive. and sometimes they don't get the job done on defense also. This combo will begin to be useless if we need to catch up in scoring. Add Hayes there, we will have a problem if nobody gets hot and we are trailing behind.
