it does feel like right around the time i thought "damn, he's got 31/9/9, this dude has been balling almost all series" he proceeded to play the worst basketball ever.

man, as much as i wanna blame harden, it was shocking how easily we were generating open looks against the spurs D in the 3rd and 4th quarters before the final 3 minutes. i mean we weren't even running much and getting wide open 3's. so many wasted opportunities to make the lead bigger.

 

I've made my peace with them losing the series. (Gonna be really tough to win 2 in a row against the Spurs). It's been good season all in all. Now the team with a better chance of winning more than 1 game against the Warriors will get to advance to play the Warriors. Hate the Spurs with all my Rockets passion but I'd like to see this team exit with some pride against the Spurs(after having won 2 games...or maybe 3 if they win the next one) versus getting swept by the F$#K*ng Warriors.

Another underrated stat is "only" 8 free throw attempts for Harden. I do not believe he was able to get a single 3pt shot foul call like he normally does. Spurs are just too smart and disciplined.

 

I'm not blaming the loss on this but the first half officiating was absolutely horrid. We should've been up by double digits.

 

The series that just won't end

 

The referees causing harden to choke!!!! Ughhhhh!!!! Always screwing us over I hate them!!!

 

I think the Warriors will be waaay too much for either team. Warriors are primed to sweep either one. Neither team is equipped to beat Golden St. Rox need to get better.

 

I disagree. Although Harden was a problem down the stretch so were the team's legs which affects your shot.

 

I say next game, we only play 5 players. We only shoot 3's, and we only shoot those 3's on ISO step backs.

 

At one point, I seriously thought coach was just having everyone shoot 3s the entire game and nothing else. It was that bad. I thought it was a new strategy. They were just jacking them left and right...missing a lot of them in the process. It was ugly. I feel like we missed some opportunities to just take it to the hole.

 

It's been over an hour and I'm still pissed off. I don't know how I'm going to get over this tonight, f****

 

Next season...James gets a new girlfriend and slacks off on his game. Stay tuned.

Spurs are not talented enough, but they play smarter than both teams. Houston first needs to learn to play smart, then they can worry about adding talent.
