Brewer will be big in this one. The key is getting stops. San Antonio doesn't want to get out and run with us, so we need to be focused on the defensive end. That especially goes for James and Trevor. Nothing easy.
Thank God the Rockets are deep at PF. Completely and utterly depressing that such a good season is being derailed this much, though.
So I guess we're rolling with Howard/Smith Jones/KPap Ariza/Brewer Harden/Brewer Terry/Prigioni Damn. Losing Bev and DMo is just a huge blow. Promising year just to waste smh. This game will tell us a lot about this battered team.
We lost a lot of versatility losing DMO. Now I don't have that "we can beat anyone" attitude. We just have to hope someone steps up. We've been doing it all season long. But then again DMO has been there all year with Ariza/Harden. This sucks!
$20 says the Spurs who are "questionable" (yeah right) play tonight cuz that's just the Rockets luck.

While not necessarily a statement game, it certainly will be a measure of playoff readiness. The Spurs are playing well and consistently -- both defensively and offensively. I anticipate the Rockets to have rough edges -- some good things and some bad; most notably poor FT shooting and the tenancy to make bad passes. The "hack-a-Dorsey" tactic may come into play and there is no good solution for that unless Howard can play extended minutes. Even then, "hack-a-Howard" is not much better for the Rockets. Bottom line: if the Rockets focus on defense first, offense will probably take care of itself, although the Spurs are a good defensive team. I give the edge to the Spurs at their place, for sure. They aren't playing like a 6th seed.
Stfu with that bs. what waste? We still got the mvp, brewer and smith who weren't even on the team a few months ago, we should be grateful we still have a chance to compete.
Bulging disc. Of course an assumption, but it will be that or stress fractures in the vertebrate if I had to guess.
I think he was throwing out a playoff rotation roster with maybe 10 guys? Either way, I'm extremely wary of Dorsey/Capela getting PT due to FT issues... Here's hoping Smoove can play the 5 to some degree and that Papa shakes off that rust fast...
