tigermission apologize to jvg for your unkind remark please....maybe someone else was stupid... dont count your chickens........
SA D isnt that great the foul calls are killing us, if we can start to hit half our shots we will win...
What are you talking about? Do you mean playing T-Mac today? I think he is STUPID for doing so, because the risk he is taking is way too high. He will learn one of those days. I think he is getting a bit greedy. That is just my opinion though
I can't believe the Rockets are letting a Duncan-less Spurs team beat up on them. And Yao Ming, talk about being worthless in this game. This is a game that Yao should be dominating!
What irks me is that the foul calls are weighted heavily in favor of SA. Not calling post contact nullifies TD's abence.
It's a no win situation. If McGrady doesn't play them people will complain that he isn't tough and if the Rockets lose they'll rip Van Gundy. But if McGrady DOES play then people will criticize Van Gundy for playing him.
MJ with an Jordanesque shot Man, that high-arching shot of his comes in VERY handy with defenders all over you. That is probably why he can consistently shoot in people's faces and still make those shots.
Steve Javie's crews favor the aggressors... they gave us the questionable call w/ T-mac as well. The Spurs are clearly taking it to the rack, whereas the Rockets are settling for jump shots. If T-mac was fully healthy, I'm sure he'd drive it in more... but guys like James and Barry need to try to take it to the hole. James with the buzzer beater!
I don't care what 'people say', although I do understand your point. People can say whatever the heck they want, bottom line is I think the cost-benefit analysis from taking this risk is not on the positive side. But that is just my assessment. We are still getting our butts kicked so far, and SA ain't even playing that well. Oh, and to that poster who told me that Keith Jones gives the clearance for a player to play or not, I already knew that, but the coach has the final decison to decide if it's worth the risk or not, and play his chips accordingly.
T-Mac can't even keep up with Genobili on defensive end. Barry, James, and Wesley MUST drop down their shots if we are to even stay in this game. Yao.....well, I will just keep my fingers crossed in his case. At least someone is knocking down their shots: Padgett that is.
Yao should play 40 minutes this game. It's our only chance. Tmac can't drive, and Deke can't score. Our only hope is if Yao suddenly starts dominating, drawing doubles for our shooters. I really wish they'd take tmac out.
The Rockets just need to make sure that the Spurs don't blow them out, with the way they're playing right now. Stay within 10... and then be the aggressors in the second half (and hopefully these refs will start loosening up the perimter.... you can't breathe on a player w/out hearing the whistle).
tiger mission..the last thing jvg would do is jepordize the team for one game. t mac plays because he can. your opinion is based on a belief that is wrong. that t mac can't play. one thing about a sore or strained muscle, many times it improves through usage.clearly t mac is warming up and if he can keep the blood moving it helps him move through the tightness, which is what we are seeing. remember those chickens.. Stupid is a very strong word to through around anyway.. one thing jvg is NOT is stupid.
My link for the last minute comeback appears to still be working so use it up for those who don't have it.
