our whole defense is predicated on doubling and helping so as soon as someone penetrates we help out and leave shooters open, so if we ever play a team that can shoot, we lose. i just wish we wouldn't have soooo much help defense.

    **** I hate spurs fans...

    I love Greg Popvich ...

I love Tim Duncan , and I wish other nba jackasses could learn something from his attitude...

But I HATE Spurs fans... dont know why... they just seem like really annoying people...

San Antonio is an ugly city too...

    carry on...

This game cements Ginobili's status as my most hated player. He gets away with absolutely EVERYTHING, and then these jackass commentators are just messing their pants over everything he does.

Terrible game. Poor shooting, TOs, and just terrible effort overall.

yes the owness is on Yao,

Did you recognize on that play strip, Yao was so fixated with trying to get infront of Nesterovic that all his concentration was on just that, there was no inclination that Gino or some other guard can come in and strip him like that.

If he was not so worried about getting position on Nesterovic than he could uses and trust his instincts and senses that a gurad can easily come from behind on a quick double team for a strip,

kepping the ball a bit higher would have negated gino's ability to strip so cleanly. If he did get a hand on the ball it would have gone out of bounds or he would have fouled Ming while attempting to strip the ball.

The main consequence of these troubles is Yao's inability to beat the fronting D that exacerbates his other problems.

We are getting LITTLE to NOTHING from Sura/Wesley/Barry/James for the past few games. If they cannot make their shots, we are back to season begining in term of offense. That is just not gonna work against quality teams. They'd better practise shooting from now on.

    Manu Ginobli....

Trying to remember. Who it was who claimed Manu wouldnt be shizzat, and that Mobley was far the superior potential player.

    Was it HeyPartner?

If so, where is the Manu hating these days.

Well at least we can count on JVG bustin' balls now that the game is over. The Rockets let an easy one go today. Must be Heat-syndrome....

If the YOF use todays game as example, they will lose. Plain and simple. What did Yao do that would indicate otherwise?

exactly...you are soo right, i know were all human but when they make more in one game than 99% of people on this earth make in a whole year, you would think they would have more effort, im just soo impressed with the spurs, they played like a college team in that they challenged everything!!

i hope they rockets took that last play when parker was still going for the ball with 10 seconds left, when we have 3 players starring at the ball and he still was wanting to score!!!! i hope they kick his butt the next time we see them.....n the playoffs!

I don't want to start anything, and the last thing I am is a Yao hater (I love the guy!), but it seems to me that he's picked up a nasty habit of thinking too much out there. He's gotten away from relying on his instincts. That's not a good, either.

I'm not sure why, but I have to think it has something to do with JVG's coaching style. Yao seems to be afraid of failing. Remember back to his first year, with the over the head passes and the quick little hooks, etc? Those things are all but gone.

I'm not too concerned about this loss (against the best team in the league on their own court), but I'd sure like to see Yao get untracked before the playoffs come up.

Our guards need to make shots! Shiat, what happened to the machine?

I will be surprised if Gino can last in this league for 3 more seasons without serious injury. He's going to get hurt one way or another.
