We didn't give up and had a good 4th quarter. Losing was no disgrace.
Head,Brunson did well. Yao did well too but he didn't get help from Howard which was the most disappointing thing today. Missing Wesley also didn't help.
Don't lose heart and keep on fighting should be our motto.

Yes, and the commentators were surprised he got away with that. After the ball barely missed two sonics, the ball went right into the crowd.

I know they will show that end ofthe game Ginobli drive on Yao and the dunk 500 times on ESPN but.....

I thought for as big as he is, I thought Yao played that really well!. He was inches away from blocking that shot despite being faked out on the crossover.

Duncan finally got something to smile at sitting on the banch after getting owned by Yao.

Yao is gonna improve even more!

The rest of the league can SUCK on it.

That's what this off season will be all about. Actually, there are two things it will be about, getting Tmac healthy, and finding at least 2 shooters to put on the floor around Yao and Tmac.

Tell me about it. Kobe is getting away with a lot in this league. I'm surprised he isn't stabbing people on his way to the basket. Because, you know, the refs probably won't call a foul.

Makes you chuckle how KG got tossed for lightly tossing the ball towards the crowd, but Kobe won't even draw a tech for KICKING the ball towards the crowd.

    As I said, "Lakers rules".

I am going to go and console myself with visions of a dominating Yao and a healthy and lethal Tracy when he returns...(good shooting and rebounding role players are welcome as well)..

They lost but I am not gonna complain.

Everyone except Juwan busted their tails off! They have nothing to be ashamed off!

Move on to the next game!!!

Bruce Bowen had the look of "WTF!! This sucks! Rockets dont have anyone on their team for me to guard on the perimeter. I hate Ryan bowen!" the entire game.

Yao continued to put up some nice numbers, but I didn't think he was much of a factor in the second half. The Spurs did a very good job on him overall, after the first quarter.

He will be fined by the league, no doubt. The refs just didn't want to embarass him in front of his crowd.

other than Rafer... our 3-pt shooting was much better this game.. Head was 3/6 and Brunson was 2/3.

This game just shows how scary the Rockets will be when our team has Tmac back.
Yao was being double and tripple teamed by the spurs and still dropped 25/10.

Here is the key defensive adjustment Spurs made in the 3rd quarter.

When Yao got the ball, and then a Rockets cut right by him to the basket, the Spurs defender would go right behind Yao, following the cutter BUT then...

....he would break, and double Yao from behind, trying to blindside him. I saw that happen on multiple times. I think JVG should have taken a timeout and told Yao this. And Yao should have just faked a shot and then passed it right to cutter for layup under the basket.

I bet yao will watch the tapes and make the adjustment for next time.

And then when Ryan Bowen came in, Spurs asked the refs if it was legal for the Rockets to put 4 players in the game. Not that Popvich was complaining, I am sure, he was just wondering about the rules.
