The Spurs are amazing... Parker and Ginobili are rotting on the bench the entire time while we get within 2... and then Pop just asks them to play like studs, and not pansies (like they had been), and they do so.

    That's talent... that's depth... that's championship basketball.

and I just hope the Rockets brass understands this. My big fear is that Juwan is starting for the Rockets next season. and I think Les wants a real shot at a title pretty soon.

I strongly disagree that Juwan would have made a difference in the Mavs series last year, I've stated my argument in other threads about that.

Duncan is much too tall for chuck to guard. Duncan will just go over the top of him.

You do realize that they just brought two all-stars OFF THE BENCH to close out this game.

Bogans, Head, Alston, etc. (who've been playing the ENTIRE half) aren't going to have much luck with that.

Regardless of who wins this game, this game clearly shows that the Rockets are on their way up while the Spurs are on their way down. We're missing T-Mac and STILL gave Spurs problems.

P.S. Dang, that Ginobli has ball bearings for ankles.

Comon, Howard gave you nothing today. Forget those face up (4) points. He should be nominated as the Spurs high scorer today. It was unexcusble to keep him on the court.

The Rockets tried to address this by signing Swift... it didn't work out, and now they're screwed. (unless Swift somehow grows a brain... he will never be more than simply an energy player who makes highlight reel dunks... never a go-to guy).

Who else can they get? A great starting 4 is like a great o-lineman in the NFL... every team wants one, and no team is going to ever give up a decent one.

The bottom line is that this team can't do any better than Juwon Howard right now... and blaming EVERY loss on him is just a waste of venting.

This team has far more problems than Juwon Howard.
