rockets lose this one with or without tracy

yao plays well but these are the spurs in SA. i dont think we've beat them in SA in like 5-6 years.

I am hoping the rockets prove me wrong though

It will be intersting to see how Yao keeps up the greatest play of his career against a team like the Spurs. It will be especially interesting because I'll be home for spring break, and I'll FINALLY get to watch a game on local TV. I've seen so little Rockets games being out of Texas this year, it's really sucked.

With T-Mac(for the entire game, not just a half), the Rockets have a shot. Their games with the Spurs are always ugly, low-scoring affairs, so they're usually in it when the 4th quarter rolls around.

But if T-Mac has to sit this one out, forget it. The good thing is, it's not a must win for them. They need to pitch a shutout at home the rest of the way, but they can afford the occasional road loss.

Sadly I have to Agree with you. Spurs is a much better team. Currently in the west there are only two teams, Spurs and Suns, tough to beat for Houston. I hope Yao play well, 30+ points and 10+ rebounds.

This will be the best time to beat the Spurs. The Spurs will have two games before Sunday's game and they should be fatigued. Rockets WIN!!!

What is it about the Spurs?? I hate that team. They are a boring team to watch. They are not even that good of a team regardless of what their records say. They are not really all that atheltic. They dont have a pure shooter, Duncan is overrated. Just dont allow duncan second chance points or easy buckets and dont allow parker to score in the paint. Take Parker out Yao. Paker is like a corvette and Yao the brick wall. What happens when a corvette runs into a brick wall? a 5 pt lead in this game seems like 20.

I just cringe at the thought of what Tony Parker is going to do to rafer this sunday.

Hopefully yao can set a killer pick and knock him out.

the good thing about Duncun is he only work in the areas he's good at: defense, hit every open shots etc. .... he doesnt try to do much, that's why his teammates play at such a high cofidence level.
Unlike Kobe and Lebron, they are really really good, too good, and trying to do everything, their teammates have less cofidence when they takes shots, or hesitate, they dont make their teammates better at all.
so i say Duncun is the real deal.

Things may change, if it explodes to 10 plus pages beforehand.

The Spurs bench players (especially their guards) are better than our starters. A win would be a "miracle," a fluke. All things are possible, but a win aganst the Spurs without TMac, and given the talent-level of the Rockets, not probable, even with Ming playing out of his mind. But we can dream, it could happen. :)

ok!! were all saying rox will win. but if we had money riding on this game we would all be picking the spurs to win. only 3 losses at home this year, and a 14-15-16??? game losing streak in S.A. heart says rockets though

Don't be OVER-optimistic. Be realistic, we need TMac to beat Spurs.

if rafer can put pressure on parker by keeping close with some steals and rocks rebound well this game isn't out of reach.

rockets can't afford to lose more than 2 games for the rest of this month. queens, jazz, lakers are playing too well.
