He's being started every single game and he still got over 20 minutes in this game. If they played him 36 minutes in a blowout and he got hurt, people would claim that was the wrong thing to do. When other players are playing harder and earning those minutes in blowouts that Green helped make blowouts to begin with, I feel like it's fine to give the end of the bench those development minutes. Green will be back starting the very next game, those players might not get playing time at all.
Confidence is a huge thing. If Green finished that quarter off dropping another 10 or 8 maybe he feels like he figured something out. He could try moves he can't try on starting wing defenders, build his confidence... Man like I say, every premier rookie plays in garbage time. That's been a thing FOREVER now...but we have him sitting on the bench for an ENTIRE quarter. Crazy. We're not winning any ways. Toss Green in there and tell him to try some stuff out.
Yeah, I don't know what to think about the rotation choices here, but Green was -35 in his 23 minutes. That's not great.
I was talking about Green who shoots high 80s from FT… follow the convo Sengun is also a good Midrange shooter but instead he’s stuck driving into traffic now that teams got tape on him. Rockets are super easy to defend if they not hot from 3 … pack paint and collect rebounds
We are not allowed to take mid range shots. They even don’t practice mid range shots. You said the shooting percentage is meaningless. Even basketball idiot knows mid range shots is easier to make than 3 points. But you tell us 3 pts shooting is easier. Smh.
Sorry killer, but it's not the 80's anymore, teams aren't going to win championships without "this 3ball shiit"
For good reason, only a moron would take a lot of mid range shots if they aren't one of a handful of players in the history of the game. Like I said, I get it, math isn't your strong suit, so you are thinking about it in a simple minded "long 2 is slightly easier" way rather than realizing that despite the 3 being slightly more difficult, it leads to more points per possession on average than the long 2. That's why literally every team is moving away from that trash.
they never gonna recover from wood as much as they lose in NOT giving young players(picks) playing time experience and confidence FOUR this years FRPS ALREADY TANKED IN VALUE HARD.... never gonna recover that from overplaying vets on the team to trade... memmber how many PT we lost showcasing danule house and theis...? thats why sengun and garuba look like **** now.... and you cant get not even a 2nd rounder for garuba now thats how you become shitty for decades and always tanking serving like a farm and training field for playoffs teams
It's not entirely his fault, there's just awful chemistry with the first unit, especially without KPJ there to help run the offense. Guys like Christopher stepped up and were rewarded today, it's as simple as that.
