Any word on whether Asik, Parsons and Harden are playing tonight? They're listed on the injury list and reported as Day to Day. Apparently Asik has "flu like symptoms."
Today is the day... <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90491673@N08/8252538483/" title="hrockets by Rockets888, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8072/8252538483_dfc3045193.jpg" width="302" height="168" alt="hrockets"></a>
MOTHER OF GOD! I thought you were kidding but it's true Omer Asik Day-To-Day Dec 6 Comment: Asik has been dealing with flu-like symptoms, the Houston Chronicle reports. Chandler Parsons Day-To-Day Dec 6 Comment: Parsons, who continues to be limited by an injured shoulder, did not participate in Thursday drills involving potential contact, the Houston Chronicle reports. James Harden Day-To-Day Dec 6 Comment: Harden told coaches he suffered an injury to his right big toe in the Lakers game, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Toney Douglas is pretty bad and I would much rather have harden focus on scoring than running pg, which he is not as good at. Way too easy for defenses to focus on him when he is asked to be a ballstop like he has been. Yes he gets assist, but there is a reason why the majority of them are 3s and long jump shots/lower percentage shots ( this is from a post the other day, **** you I'm not looking for it ).
With all the injuries, makes me wonder if they just won't sit Asik, Parsons and Harden since this is a massive uphill battle regardless. Lin + Patterson + bench? THAT would be... um, interesting.
