lets also not go overboard with one game. This was a great game, and just hope these guys perform like they did tonight and not confirm that they will.

    Go Rockets!!!

Best news for me was that we won despite shooting 4-17 from 3pt. 23% normally won't cut it, but our great defense came through tonight.

Yao took the team to 17 points first half lead. Un like the other games, the rest of the team didn't give up the lead.

Juwan Howard, 5-8 from the field. That's what I call efficent o_O

Oh yeah, can anybody tell me what was Lucas' role when he was in the game? A scorer? Because he didn't get 1 assist. Still ,great win and great Christmas present for the Rockets. Luther Head extends his games with at least 1 three pointer to 25 (I think) and Bonzi Wells proved that he can play. Juwan Howard silenced haters, Alston (though still trigger happy from the arc) makes big threes and Shane Battier gets 3 of blocks and 3 steals, and most importantly the Rockets kept their stride even with Yao out.

We were beating the Spurs 53-36 at the half time... Scoring 53 points on the Spurs in a half was impressive, but not as much as holding them to only 36 points. Well done. :)

the chinese commentators mentioned that the two guards, Rafer and Luther, can be good at sometimes, and really bad at sometimes, of course we saw the good side of the egg. hopefully we get to see that more often

We won because we owned the paint, and didn't shoot 20+ 3's. We got rebounds, and survived through the BS calls and non-calls.

In unrelated news, Brendan Heywood(10pts in 8min in the first) is on pace to drop 50.

I am so glad I was wrong, we won!
We played a good game as a team even though Yao-min-ator was in foul
trouble. Everyone else stepped up! And I also think it is good for our confidence--- fans' and team's.

   What a party spoiler !!!

I wonder whether you watched this game ??

The Rockets built up a double-digit lead in 1Q by a 14-point stellar performance of Yao Ming....

All the role players played their hearts out, stepped up throughout the game, never let the lead slip below double digit.....even when Yao Ming got his tic-tac 5th foul as early as 7 minutes into 4Q.........

And you come in to say a lucky win ???

We play clippers tomorrow, so it's nice to see Yao playing 28 and having his rest. Props to our role player, every single one of them, including Rafer. Player has bad games and good games, when the good ones are there, we have to appreciate it. Rafer's clutch tear drop was great!

Told my wife that if they blow this lead off again, we're going to save 50 dollars a month because I'm going to cancel our cable tv. Well... a win-win situation for me. :D

it's great to see Bonzi not only having a great game, but getting acquainted to his teammates. it was hilarious seeing our bench hi-5ing Bonz and Novak nocking on Bonzi's bald head :D

LOL at Yao and Bonzi having a hug after the game. I bet Yao's gf and Thunderthigs were really jelous :D

LOL at JVG's post game comments. he kept saying some B.S and he looked like his normal grumpy self. he was coaghing like a MoFo though. he better stop smoking :D

my biggest thanks gotta go to the guy who I really hate, Juwan Howard :D thank u MR. Juwan for hitting your shots!! (sorry Zboy ;) )

all of u Bonzi haters, IN YOUR FACE!! I knew he was going to come back and play great. I told u that he aint no Stromile or DA.

all of u Rafer haters, IN YOUR FACE!! well, I take it back, I was Rafer doubter, not a hater. but I am sure I will get burned by my man Zboy. great game by Rafer.

thank u my Rockets, for not letting me go crazy and not sleep at night. thank u, for not making me take out all my anger on Luther Head (who, by the way, had a great game assist-wise and percentage-wise). thank u, for not letting me disgustingly read new threads calling for Mcgrady's trade or b!tching about Rox performance/ players. especially Skip to My Looooooooooooooouu :D

oh, FSN poll results just came out, fans voted Yao Ming as the best fit for a Santa Claus from the Houston Rockets. I personally went with the Bonz at first but I changed my mind to Howard. his look in that commercial was just perfect. :D
