Great win. I liked how aggressive the bench was, particularly John Lucas III. Bonzi played very aggressively and has a smooth post game.

Yes JL3 did a great job. His speed changes the game and he's a good scorer. Did you guys see Yao and Bonzi after the game? Yao came up and gave Bonzi some love taps. :D

Alston hit some nice shots in the 4th Q. I think the rest gave his legs a nice rest to allow him to finish the game better.

That salvaged the road trip. What's depressing is they could've gone 5-0. But go figure, they win the 2 toughest games on the trip, against the Clippers and Spurs(the Fakers were missing Odom).

I was hoping for a 10-6 record for the month of December. If they sweep their remaining 3 home games and split their 2-game roadie in the East next week, they'll pull it off.

rox never won Spurs in San Antonio since April of 1997 with a 17 loss streak, today, we can say goodbye to those failures, actually rox could get a lead with 10 or even more points in the earlier period but pissed off with a sudden collapse many times, solve the bench problems, decrease stup!d turnovers, make the lead consistent, sure comes a win!!

Don't forget Head and Alston going off for 20 assists in this game. Only thing that could make this victory sweeter is V-span and Novak putting a dagger in the Spurs hearts during garbage time.

Interesting to see as long as there is some one "penetrating inside" to distract defense from Yao, we have the win!

Eager to see T-Mac and Snyder back. With Bonzi, Yao won't be alone there!

The big reason for the win is : Yao was in foul trouble and did not play in 4th Q.! Actually, he played a little bit 4th, got 2 rebounds slipped away, and a foul.. then out.

    A lucky win.!

Bonzi is a very, very good player. He is extremely valuable, considering he scores in the post, creates his own offense, midrange game, great rebounder, drawing double teams, and brings attitude which we need. When tracy comes back, this may be the best team in the NBA.

I just hope when Tracy gets back it won't cut into Bonzi's minutes, and then Snyder is coming back, too. I guess Bonzi will be our Stackhouse, but a lot better. Could be 6th man of the year.

After the sweet elbow, did anyone here that guy behind the announcers screaming out his entire repertoire of words that should be censored.

On any other night, if you have 20 assists from Rafer Alston + Luther Head combined.....then probably we can beat any team in the league!!! 11 for Head and 9 for Skip !!!

Great job for all the role players stepping up tonight, after Yao Ming delivered a stellar 14 points 1Q performance to set the tune for the game.....and the Rockets never looked back and let slip the lead, and let the Spurs climb out from that big hole they dug for themselves !!!

Yeah....we beat them convincingly: we out-scored,out-rebounded, out-assisted, out-blocked them.....and we even have lesser turnovers than the ususally very consistent and tenacious Spurs !!!

GREATEST Christmas present for all Yao Ming/Rockets fans around the world !!! :D :D :D

    no, it's the least part.

    1. we broke a 17 game losing streak
    2. a define moment of this season:
howard is back in his 04/05 season form, should play 30 minutes
alston/head have hearts to go inside and shoot big 3
jl3 is a scorer and should be backup pg
wells is officially our 3rd option

btw, this games proves a superstar should carry a team argument a total BS.

it takes 5, or more acturate, it take 10.
