The difference in the second will be the refs.

Can't ask for more than that 1st half. But the big question is how will we react when they increase pressure on the ball and cut off passing lanes? It's gonna be on Rafer, Luther and JL3 to go around people and make something positive happen. They weren't playing Spurs defense. We'll see the real thing in the 2nd half.

When our offense slows down in the 2nd half, we MUST keep up the defensive effort to prevent a complete collapse.

JVG and the Rockets might just be the exact thing that Bonzi needed. He needs discipline. He learned from JVG that the rules apply to all the team members. He is learning from Yao and Battier that preparation and work ethic count. He is learning from TMac to be unselfish. What he said in the paper today and what he is showing on the court, says he is learning. So all you JVG bashers, will you give him credit if Bonzi turns out to be the answer. Of course, not. That would be fair. None of that fairness stuff allowed with the JVG haters.

I agree the Spurs just rarely have a complete bad game. They will come out pissed off and this game is going to be close. They always get behind almost like they are bored then they say " ready or not here we come " and they usually win...We will soon see !!

Agreed. Unfortunately, I don't have much faith in Rafer and the rest of the backcourt crew to keep their composure when the Spurs crank up their 'championship' defense. I hope they prove me wrong.

What's the over-under on Rockets turnovers in the second half? We got 6 in the first half.

    I'll put it at 11.

on a more serious sidenote, whoever is guarding Duncan is doing a fine azz job, actually, our entire D has been good today, Yao and Bonzi are looking really good offensively (bonzi the spurs killer! hooray), if Battier can get going offensively, I think we have a good chance of winning. (Anytime Battier has a decent night offensively, we almost always win..)

This is probably one of the best games in the season for the rox.

Why can't you just sit down and enjoy the game instead of jinxing?

Yao gets pushed in the back but no call, and Timmy gets a touch foul on the other end and goes to the line....
