You don't need to be as sharp as can predict lotto to say tonight's game is over.

Yao, please shut down Rasho now if you are a real center too.

Look at the way Yao is playing tonight, it is not soft. He will be better.

THAT was a nice 15 footer just made by Duncan to finish the ist half. I bet Yao could do the same thing. Too bad, our coaches and like many posters here who think all Yao should do is just bang, bang inside the paint. What a waste of talents.

I find the most efficient way to deal with Yao-only fans/haters is to ignore them. ;)

    Halftime:

    11 turnovers, 11 fouls commited, 29% shooting, but it's only a 7 point game

Still sucks that we came back within 3 and gave up 4 straight points in 35 seconds to end the half

Parker has more assists (7) than the entire Rox team.

    This is just pathetic.

I don't want him to bang. I'd love to see him shoot from outside, he hasn't shown that he is able to hit much from outside. His shot is so flat. He looks scared to put it up.

Exactly. People just keep complaining Yao playing too soft and have an unrealistic of hope of Yao to play like Shaq. If Brad Miller can shoot a 3, why can't put Yao to shoot some mid-range jumpers occasionally?

Nice to see that they're back in the game again, but the Rockets killed themselves with poor execution in the closing seconds. Jackson with the offensive foul, and the Bowen layup and foul on their previous score. It could very well be a 3 point game, but we messed it up in the closing seconds. Still I'm glad the deficit isn't as bad as it was looking to be, and Yao's actually playing aggressive. Do it more often! It opens up the offense so much when he's making his buckets and getting the ball dumped down into him and is making the kick out passes around the perimeter. Atleast when the ball is being dumped down to him and he's not playing like a weakling. If he'd play with the same intensity like he did when grabbing those boards on offensive end, we'd probably be winning right now. It really is all coming down to him to step up. His defense has been sucking though. He's not even trying to get a hand in Rasho's face when he faces up for a mid range jumper.

Some people just don't learn their lessons from last year. Last year people didn't see him play and call him a bust, this year people who don't know the guy question his mentality, Yao will prove u r wrong pretty soon.

I don't know why Pike was taken out so quickly. He provided some much needed offense.

The lack of assists is more of a platitude in Houston I must say. We can just hope out players can score and rebound then we can win.
