    His Knicks club had a horrible offense as well. JVG may be a good defensive coach, but he is one of the worst offensive coaches.

    The players should also bear part of the responsibility. Imagine JVG is coaching Dallas, I think the guys can still score 100 every game.

    The Knicks had no leaders. They had to play "team ball." True, that JVG is no Pete Carril. But he's a lot more balanced than Rudy. He does have cuts, backdoors and uses the pick and role exclusivly.

    The players now, just have to execute it.

    In the past, we had the worst of both worlds: "No offense" plays other than ISO from RUDY, and players that were unwilling to learn any other style of offense (they loved the iso). Worst of both worlds.

    It's time for the players to do their part now.

    Everybody knows Yao is no Ducan, but he can be efficient to be part of an inside-outside player. What's worse is that both Cat and Stevie are in foul trouble!

    Two positive things tonight:

    We've already gone to the line 2 times more then the entire game at the Toyota Center

    We're shooting 23% and only down 5

    That's why I'm so hard on Francis and Yao. They are our "best" players, and they should set the standard to which the other role players follow.

    If both of them have a "low standard," the role player wont respect them when they say, "do this" or "do that." Why should the role players listen if the "leaders" don't do it themselves.

    I'm especially hard on Francis because he's proclaimed himself as "the leader" of the Rox. As I said before, "Talk the talk, walk the walk..."

    Rockets and Spurs really make for lousy games this year...

    With 4 minutes to play in the half they've only scored 54 points. Pretty similar to the last game.

    Yes, right now we don't have a leader to set a model to the others. The Franchise is far too self-centred sometimes which contributes to his inability to lead the team. Yao is only in his 2nd year, and he is just not good enough. He may have the ability to lead the team in the future though.
