b2b game is non-factor for both teams since starters played just half of last game

 

OK, we are down a key guy and the best scorer/player isn't 100 percent, but we have Brooks in a good groove who can contribute, Garcia has found his game, Asik is playing better, T Jones is can contribute, Parsons has found a groove and players are integrating Dwight better whose free throws are improving. Yes, Lin plays well against the Spurs, but the whole team is playing better than they have at any time this year. Is it enough to beat the Spurs? I don't know but I'm hoping for a competitive game.

 

Big test for the Rockets, but they've already done what I'd hoped they'd do a week ago which is put themselves in position to do no worse than 12-6 for November(and technically October).

 

Predicting a monster game from TJ (28 & 11). Think we can eke out a close one, but it's all going to come down to whether or not Harden's matador D is in effect tonight.

Will most likely be a loss, but hoping for the best.

NBD if we lose though, we can afford to drop one now. Just hope the guys keep playing well.

 

We are going to miss our two spurs destroyers in Harden and Lin.

 

They are always ready! This could develop into a 3pt shoot out. Popovich has also made the analysis that a over 35% 3pt shooting % will be more valuable than 50% 2pt shooting. Good 3pt shooting is also very difficult defensively. There is little you can do about it including the risk of 3 FTs.

Well, the Rockets have guns too. Both the starting and the second unit have 3 pt shooters in Parsons/Beverley/Harden or Casspi/Garcia/Brooks (when Lin is out). Parsons and Casspi are both 6'9'', which makes it specially difficult to defend. The perimeter defenders are seldom so tall.

 

D-12 and Asik are going to have a monstrous game tonight. Book it.

 

Our best moments against the Spurs last year are going to combine in this game for ultimate Rocket's elation:

Lin torches Parker for 38 points.
Harden scores the game winner as the buzzer goes off.

Fans are estatic!

 

Lin and Harden will do no such thing. One isn't playing and the other should not be playing.

 

I take it you don't actually watch Rockets games or keep up with what's going on around the league.

Or this was a bad joke attempt. One or the other.
