We got within 1 game of the NBA finals. With "bob", we might not have even made the playoffs (due to his dissapearence from regular season games), and we certainly would have not beaten Seattle (Kemp/Schremph OWNED him... back when he was thin).

Barkley did get the Rockets past the Sonics, but without Sam Cassell and Horry we couldn't beat the Jazz. It would have been great to see The Rockets vs. The Bulls just once.

Juwon Howard is the biggest waste of flesh. He hasnt done anything productive so far and JVG insists on keeping him in.

The only positives of that first quarter..... we got great looks, and Yao had ZERO fouls.

The negatives... we missed every great look we had, and the Spurs seemed to be toying with us.

    Oh yea... DA still sucks.

Well, you don't get to play the Jazz if you can't beat the Sonics. Also, those Jazz teams got much better PG play from Stockton (and we know Cassell wasn't the "best" of defenders), and MVP PF play from Malone (Kevin Willis couldn't stop him... neither would Horry).

I do think we should rest TMac these three games. With our guards' performance, I don't see much chance for us to win even with TMac.

we arent' going to win many games playing offense like this. how in the hell do we find every single player in the entire nba who can't make a damn shot??? unbelievable.

and great job by the clock crew in SA. parker goes about 60 ft., half speed in 1.6 seconds, taking 3 dribbles. i got a utah flashback, right there.

I would say DA is even bigger... at least Juwon can play occasional defense against guys like KG, and he can create his own shot (which he's missed tonight). DA can't stay with ANYBODY, nor can he do ANYTHING on his own on the offensive end.

If they put him on Bowen, expect Bruce to light-em up for 30. If T-mac or Yao wasn't here, DA would try to take over... and we'd score about 40 points for the entire game.

Juwan Howard in the first quarter tonight sucked big donkey balls. He missed wide open shots, and didn't do anything else. Yet he gets a free pass on this site from just about every poster. Just pathetic.

Juwan, could you please just kick yourself off this team. The Rockets do not need your services.

Wow, it's only been the first quarter and already the Rockets are tired and sluggish.

Can anyone explain this? I thought we had a talented team.......

Don't get me wrong, I like what CD did this summer with the new acquisitions, but I'm just not seeing good chemistry out there. I'll give this team til All-star break before laying down criticism, but it really doesn't look too good out there. Watching Wesley, Howard, and Anderson shoot out there makes me cringe. Their shots aren't even close and they aren't exactly known for their defensive prowess. I hope our role players turn things around because we need them desperately if we're going to succeed.
