Totally agree, he really needs to be coming off the bench. As unorthodox as this sounds, head should get the nod at starting guard. If not head, then Wesely.

I don't know that I would go quite THAT far. Yes, the Rockets have a problem or two, but I think the answers to these problems are within our reach. After all, the team that "can't shoot, can't defend, can't rebound" just came within 7 points of beating the NBA champs in their home court. This wasn't a blowout, or some embarrassing loss. We held in there when the Spurs looked to close the door, and made them really nervous on their home turf. There's a moral victory to be had here.

I'M not a big Sura fan, but i'm truly starting appreciate what he meant to this team. him and tracy had a great understanding. he was the junk yard dog every team needs.

A valid point but still there is absolutely no DANGOL excuse for them to play sluggish in the first half.

You're supposed to step it up on the ROAD against the champs instead of conceding defeat or making excuses like "being non-acclimated with the JVG system"

In this game, Yao was +8 when he's on the court. Yao sit 3 down 3 times in the game and Spurs made 3 little runs. Basiclly Rockets' interior D is gone when Yao is sitting on the bench. Even though Yao didn't score in 2nd half, he pretty much clogged the lane.

Deke's effectiveness took a nose dive so far this year.

I can;'t believe freaking beers are freaking 6.25 at the SBC!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw her, yeah I saw her with her black tongue tied
    Round the roses
Fist pounding on a vending machine
Toy diamond ring stuck on her finger
With a noose she can hang from the sun
And put it out with her dark sunglasses
    Walking crooked down the beach
She spits on the sand where their bones are bleaching
And I know I'm gonna steal her eye
She doesn't even know what's wrong
And I know I'm gonna make her die
Take her where her soul belongs
And I know I'm gonna steal her eye
    Nothing that I wouldn't try

    My..... girl
    My..... girl

I saw her, yeah I saw her with her hands tied back
    And her rags were burning
Crawling out from a landfilled life
Scrawlin her name upon the ceiling
Throw a coin in a fountain of dust
White noise, her ears are ringing
Got a ticket for a midnight hanging
Throw a bullet from a freight train leaving
And I know I'm gonna steal her eye
She doesn't even know what's wrong
And I know I'm gonna make her die
Take her where her soul belongs
And I know I'm gonna steal her eye
Nothing that I would not try

    My..... girl

Dude i'm trying to see it in a positive perspective. the first 3 quarters we were horrible, but in the last , we tried our behinds off. maybe saying it might be The turning point is a little to early to tell. but there was alot of positives in it.

    Would you stop saying that?

You sound pretty Dang'ol when you say garbage like that. Who cares what they "would or could" be, the fact is they are 3-5 with a lot work ahead of them to turn it around.

I did have a deja vu of "tmac's 13 in 35" briefly. But the fact is, why did they wait till the latter part of the 4th to turn it up?

I wonder what the heck JVG tells his team everytime they practice. Rockets seem like they are far worse than just minor customary growing pains.

    Guys...

We don't need any wholesale changes to change our fortunes a bit. But as I said: first order is to start (yes, that's right, start) Head over DA, and let DA try his fortunes off the bench.

For whatever reason, Barry has been dead silent since game 1, he hasn't shown up at all the last few games.

It was a good game. I love watching McGrady take over..however, I'd prefer to see a balanced offense where 5+ players are in double figures..and points are spread out..yes McGrady 25 and Yao 20 and other guys contributing around 15 a game. But they aren't. The only other guy who scores is Barry. And Barry can only play limited minutes. Also Head too.

Anderson seems about equal to Wesley..at least for today's game.
I prefer Barry and Head..and ALston. The only problem is that Barry can't play long minutes and Head and Alston are smaller guards.
We need Wesley and Anderson to step up..or is Bob Sura coming back?

Howard and Swift are decent..but yeah maybe we just need a little bit more time. We need to improve our defense and offensively spread it out make it more balanced..attack inside with Yao and outside with different players..

Our offensive is nowhere near Cohesive. thats a real worry. our shooters are not converting the free looks. thats really putting more pressure on yao. wesley and Anderson gotta start knocking the free looks down

That game was pretty ugly to watch.

I was not impressed by anyone except McGrady....and maybe Head.

San Antonio is just better. Their players are better then ours. And Bowen just wiped out our only advantage until the end of the game.

Hopefully T-mac can solved Bowen at some point, and the rest of the Rockets can solve a jumpshot.

Second quarter we cut the lead down..21-25....but then we put Mutombo in for Yao..and then Spurs went on a run to increase their lead..because Mutombo wasn't very effective when he came in tonight.

I don't think they have more talent than we do. They are just more "seasoned" and have chemistry, which the Rockets couldn't even buy at this point.
