Good going wesley with blowing the game. Luther Head should have been playing in his place. HEad has been nothing but shut down D throughout the season.

I'm sorry but I just cannot get excited about TMAC going off in the 4th quarter if we lose. However, at least he suited up tonight, I give him major props and respect for that.

On to other matters. How the hell did Yao have one shot attempt the entire second half?? That is unexcusable. JVG really needs to take some heat over this. How the hell can you not get your max player a shot for the entire second half?

2nd half it's all Tmac. Can't blame him though.

First, the Spurms will have to stop scoring, which won't happen when EVERY SINGLE TIME down the court Parker/Ginobili/their trash backcourt combos penetrate inside and blow by Wesley and Barry, only to get fouled, put 'em at the line, and help them ice the game.

Still, a valient effort to make the game -- dare I say -- respectable.

Ahh well, what's new? We already know that all you need to do is keep the game close when T-Mac is around. However, 10 points is not close enough with a team as good as the Spurs are defensively.

Yo!!! I feel where you are coming from...

But mannnnn you are going to have a heart attack after a while....

You are not going to change the opinions or reactions of the individuals on this board.

It doesn't matter if the Rox's win or lose, someone on this board is going to have a problem.

So with all of this said.... Repeat after me....

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

why in the hell did they not foul for???? they still had a small chance....what are they thinkin????

this team is teetering on the verge of being completely lost. i know it's early but offensively they are just awful, and our guards haven't provided a damn thing yet. can't shoot, can't defend, can't rebound. it's ridiculous.

Yep, Yao and Duncan didn't score for 18 minutes after they got 18 points. Very funny.

We were down by 20 late in the 3rd. we only lost by 6. thats a 14 points turnaround. good on the rockets. they fought it it bravely. i gotta feeling that last quarter might be the turning point of our season.

If Derek Anderson doesn't play tomorrow, Rockets win. The guy should never get another minute of playing time over Luther Head or Jon Barry or David Wesley.

They are guarding each other. Neither of them had much energy left on offense.

Bingo! Yao played very well, but it can't just be him and McGrady bailing the whole damn team out every night...these guys will have to learn to sink or swim sooner or later.

First change of order: START LUTHER HEAD OVER D.WESLEY! JVG is getting on my damn nerves right now, especially when Head is the ONLY Rockets dropping his dang shots.

Bad game. However, I am still positive on this team, our core players played hard, I mean Tmac YM and Head. We will be OK later

    That was pretty disgusting basketball.
    Its either Yao or McGrady.
No Plan B on this team.
We are lacking the fire we had last year with Sura and Barry.
DA is playing like he's at a funeral.
Their is just no hustle there.
Hopefully they are just tired from traveling.
But only to come home to the undefeated Eastern Conference Champs.
    :(

wow what a disappointing showing ... we didn't defend for three quarters and had no working offensive set (apart from yao early)

Don't be ridiculous. The Rockets outside of Tmac and Yao just don't "get it" yet. Until the guards start playing into their strengths, this is going to be a long ride until mid-december.

A valiant effort by Tmac in the end, but too little too late.

I guess learning to play team defense takes half a season.

JVG has to reconsider his offensive system.

Rox can stop an opponent for a spell of time, but they can't get consecutive baskets until a superstar goes nuts. You can't always depend on t-mac's personal performance to be your major offensive source.

Why isn't there any offense go through when he is playing very well in the first half? How many shots does he get in the second half? Yao is good in first half, and is T-mac in the second half. But our system never works smoothly.

Goodness. We're playing the world champions who have come back with the same team. Our superstar is unhealthy and we've got 2 new starters, one of which wasn't even with team until the middle of training camp. And it's the 8th game of the season. Give 'em a break.

Van Gundy is notorious for messing around with his team until the 2nd half of the season. I am confident we will be there at the end of the year.
