It's more of the chemistry then the lineup...

If you look at the Spurs they are making about 3 to 4 passes before every shot. So they are getting everyone involved.

We are basically making one pass and a shot. Hoping someone will get hot.

Not going to win games like that.

get me a blowgun with darts, no further than the 5th row, and Kerr would take a nice little nap.

Man, say what you may about dirty-Bowen, but that guy is THE best on-man defender in the league...In fact, he's the best one I have seen since Pippen in his prime.

Spurs offense looks smooth and beautiful. They get wide open shots all night. And the Rockets offense looks ugly and each basket comes with so much difficulty.

Yes... but if he starts to get burned, he resorts to cheap/dirty tactics to try to take out the other player.

That is why he deserves no respect from anyone... okay, now I'm really outta here.

The Rox look like they don't know what they're going to do when they come down on the offensive end. The Spurs look like they know what's going to happen 3 plays from now...

I agree. Why are the rox so bad at playing some kinda defense? Unbelievable.

Who honestly thinks this is just a lack of chemistry and experience within this "system"?

Somehow I feel Tmac and Yao can not co-exsit in this game. One guy hot, another guy out. Really sad on this

You know what really sucks? Before he got injured with the knees and back, Mcgrady was hitting every shot he attempted in the preseason.

T_Man is right ...we have absolutely no system. It doesn't matter if we have T-Mac or Yao with no true system ( offensive especially ) we can't win Sh...T!!

LOL! Understood, and I feel the same way just watching him, so imagine how the players he's guarding actually feel; I am not surprised that this guy is so reviled around the league.

Basically, he's the last (or one of the last, if you count Artest and McGrady under JVG in that category) who isn't a pansy that will take the easy way out and play the passing lanes, which is what most players in today's league settle for.

there's my point though. there isn't much difference. he adds toughness and as you said, long rebounds. however, alston is doing a pretty nice job of grabbing the long boards himself at 4 a game as opposed to bobby's 5.

point being we have bigger issues than waiting for sura to come back. he won't return us to championship form. for starters we could use a guard who can keep his man out of the paint.
