If Anderson starts the second half, I'm gonna get a knife and stick it through my hand.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck at work and can't watch the game- can someone recap what the analysis was from the half time show...

What is a YOH? And I forgot about Yao's last turnaround which got him back to 50%.

Still... advocating him to take 17 more shots in the half (when he already had 16) is kinda hypocritical if you hate people who can't do simple math.

Finally, I'm a huge Yao fan (if I've come across as anything else, I'm sorry). I'm frustrated with our shooters, and our lack of good team defense right now... Yao was fine in the first half, but as you can see... he could go off for 50, and we're still going to lose if the other parts can't step it up.

Spurs defense strategy is simple. No double team on Yao.. Let him score until he gets tired of scoring. Yao has a tendency to slow down when he's got 20 points. No killer instinct.

That was the reason why Pop took Van Exel out when he doubleteamed Yao by error. He was not supposed to do that, a big no-no for Pop. Nick must be smoking pot.

This is the same tactic that Mavz used last year on game 7. Let's see how JVG responds to this. Their defense now is focused on the outside.

Defensively the rockets are not showing some energy. Looking at their faces you can tell that they don't have mental energy to get through this. Manu is showing his fancy moves, behind the back dribble, passing 3 defenders and finishng the play AND1. And he did that more than once in the first half. This is a mentality that says the defense is SOFT. Embarrassing and humiliating to the defender.

The good thing is, during the last seven games, the rockets finished well when they were struggling but they lost when they were leading.

Spurs are the best finishers in the league. But hey, the ball is round.

I agree with you 100%. The Rockets don't win another title until JVG is coaching some where else or retired.

Why don't the Rockets just give a pillow, blanket, and a nice cup of hot chocolate to TP and Ginobili.

Boy, are they comfortable out there.

Their guards can finish plays out of P&R, and we only have TMac & Yao who are effective with P&R.

i agree i just doubt that he would be a cure all. he adds toughness. the offense gets started a little quicker, and he doesn't force anything. ok, but he would still get burned on defense by quick guards and doesn't help our shooting any.
