Great that we are seeing the fronting defenses now so we can prepare for it in the playoffs. Was surprised the Spurs showed this and didn't keep it for the playoffs.

Without T-mac, the bad calls, subpar game from Bonzi/Yao and usual bad play from PGs, it was still a competitive game. This game also could be the breakout game for Scola.

This loss was quite encouraging overall.

Stop complain about the referees the let the players play I think it was fair because the werent making calls on either side.

How can the floater be rafer signature move if he never makes it?

    Luther was just terrible

    Scola played great

What is rick trying to prove?

If I was steve i would want to be waived right about now because this is just a slap in the face when you consider the atrocious guard play. Miami could use a helping hand right about now and the clippers still dont have a point guard other than old man sam. The fans appreciate you for coming back but apparently adleman doesnt.

    Adelman is out-coached.

25 seconds left, 4 points down, He set a 2 point layup play. Is it better than a quick 3 pointer? Pop expected that and he defended the inside.

    Rafer is dumb.

Yes, the coach set the 2 point layup, but 10 seconds passed and the ball was kicked out from inside, you should shoot the 3 point!

Not today man. Rafer played a solid game tonight. Even Hubie Brown was impressed by his play. Rafer playing 40+ min was CLEARLY due to T-Mac not playing. Of course because of that he's going to take some shots. Did you notice that he was playing ~20 minutes when T-Mac was playing?

Adelman's rotations are head-scratching. Head is consistently getting lots of playing time in the 4th quarter. Hayes was useless in this game, and Scola should've played more minutes. Battier did a poor job letting his man get open. He was too worried about playing help defense. The starting lineup needs to change, and I'm pretty sure it's going to sooner or later. Against the Spurs at least, it should be Yao, Scola, T-Mac, Bonzi, and Alston.

As for Bonzi struggling, that's obviously due to T-Mac's absence. They put Bowen on Bonzi. That's how much they respect him. But Bowen would be on T-Mac if he was playing, so then they'd have no one to guard Bonzi, and then he'd destroy him like old times.

Are you kidding me? Who would Yao rather have at PG? The guys who take reckless and random shots like James and Head or Rafer, the best passer on the team?

It is better to take the first available shot and then foul because the spurs are not a good foul shooting team. You take the first shot available because you want to stop the clock and have time to extend the foul game.
