Scola finally found his mid-range jumper. Hope he keeps it.

The Spurs played pretty good defense and we were without our top scorer, but still, our offense lacks movement, especially from perimeter players. IMO, they're relying too much on picks from the bigs to get free. When they don't have the ball, they seem to do a LOT of standing around around the 3-point line just waiting for the pass. Seems a lot like last year, actually.

And I'm wondering if Bonzi's poor play tonight just had to do with an off-night or the fact that he was starting. He seems like a player who complements better than being the center of attention. I guess we'll find out in the next few games.

This game... Wasn't as bad as I expected, really. Guys are being too hard on Rafer. Throughout the whole game, he ran the team pretty well, and made some crucial plays ( the three, the drives at the start of fourth quarter). Bad decision making sometimes, especially the last teardrop ( oh god i couldn't stand that), and bad shooting overall, but not really THAT bad. You could see when he runs the team it's so much more organized and under control than when Mike does. I bet he's better than Steve as point. Mike shoots better, Rafer manages the offense better, and I guess Steve doesn't shoot as well as Mike, neither does he man the team better than Rafer. That's why he doen't get minutes.

Scola, AMAZING today. Hell, if this game can help elevate Luis's confidence, a 6 point loss is well worth it. He didn't get enough touchs as he should, but he did exceptionally well on both ends of the floor.

Props to Adelman for solving the shooting issue (we shot well today). I think Shane did good, Yao... Too soft, really.
Bonzi sucked @$$. Seriously. Luther was alright... bad decision making sometimes too. Got burned by Manu though.

We had a chance to close this game... but we've always sucked at closing games, so... Not much of a surprise. Miss T-Mac... Hope he can be back when we play Dallas and light them up for 40.

too late to get on the "we want steve" bandwagon..... Adleman wont play him
both RA are dicks

stubborn old fool, MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY
he didnt show up in shape so i will punish him forever even though he is in shape now and our other 3 guards (rafer, MJ, head) are playing like ****. Mr. Luther "givesgood" head and his atrocious play will get the nod over steve. Even though I know luther isn't good right now and rafer sucks. But I have to let everyone know whos boss. Yup they will FEAR me RA

I seriously don't know what possibly could prevent RA from playing steve before head. Other than a good 3 pt shot man that guy makes the worse decision on the court.

RA at least come out and say what the heck is wrong. This is getting ridiculous.

I can confidently say I have been watching NBA games long before you probably hit puberty.

Even Hakeem would not guard the main man until late in the second half. Hakeem could guard Karl Malone all game but he only did it in second half late in game.

You DONT risk your best offensive player sitting out early due to foul problem. Especially when,

a) Duncan is the best PF in the game.
b) Rockets other scoring option is not available.
c) It is too much to ask of yao to guard Duncan all game and create for others.

Had Rockets put Yao on Duncan early in the game, Duncans's whole purpose would be to not necessarily score on him, but draw fouls from him.

why the hell does adelman keep rafer, and head in the game at the end on the offensive side at the end of the game. they both shoot the ball like crap and make the worse decisions with the ball. im ready to see francis and brooks come in. they cant be any worse. its early but im starting to question adelman, i dont care for more entertaining games, i want wins. and jvg gave me that. i hope adelman knows what he is doing because i dont. DEKE FOR PRESEDENT HE LOVES THE KIDS.

The guards played hard as well as the whole team, they play like this tomorrow with dallas and against the suns they will win both games.

Rafer was keeping them in the game, you kind of questiuon the shot selection of head and james, especially the spacing aspect when yao gets the ball them dudes are always out of position and when they get the ball back from yao their first instinct is to dribble and they waste time and end up with a terrible posession.Rcik needs to get on them about executing at the end of games, but really the game was won at the 3 point line, the rockets didn't defend the 3 if they do that they win the game.

One thing we were missing tonight was our bread and butter play- Tmac and Yao pick and roll-thats are go to play in the crunch and it wasnt there because our guards i swear cannot make a dang entry pass...but i was very impressed with Scola tonight and Battier seemed to have found his stroke back...spurs should be very worried when we are healthy and supporting cast can play well...
