The guards can pass him the damn ball and the fronter is allowed to beat the cr@p out of him with no call by the refs. I would like to see you try and beat that in a game.

 

My question is this...since Scola is playing possessed tonight (8-9 fg%), why not set up plays for him. Just see how hot is really is? On that last play before the time out, Scola was wide open in the lane, but Rafer or James just went away from him? Let's set up some plays for Mr. Hot Hands. Let him keep shooting until he cools off. Milk him for all he's got.

it's getting annoying and frustrating seeing the stats sheet and rafer alston always 1 - X or 0 - X

Mike James needs to start and for god sakes give steve francis a chance, what's the worst that can happen.

u should have seen the warriors game last yr? everyone was so pissed how yao was basically useless in that game.

Granted Yao plays like crap tonite. But I don't understand why Adelman, whose offense focuses on ball movement, can't beat fronting defense like JVG did?

 

So easy to take Yao out of his game. Not some superstar you can count on.

So, we're down by just 5 heading into the 4th, without Tmac and playing the defending champs, plus our big offseason acquisition (Scola) is showing he can really play in the NBA.

RA needs to stop making the lame excuse that all the guards came into shape minus SF3 and let SF3 play.

 

they're interfering every ball that goes to him. Every once in a while when other team use this defence he seems to get in trouble

Actually, JVG did a pretty good job of defeating frontign last year, seeing as how that warriors game is your ONLY example. This year? I thought Adelman was an offensive genius or something. I know, let's place Yao on the 3 pt line and look for his teammates who don't know how to get open. That's the ticket....

 

This is pretty much a game both teams have to win. Rockets cannot lose in 3 straight, and Spurs cannot lose to another Texas team in consecutive nights.

This is the way Spurs is going to defend Yao coming playoff time, and Yao is pretty much helpless there.

It just does not bode well for us if one of stars cannot perform when the team needs the most.
