And I'm not a Luther Head fan. His occasional good unexpected play doesn't make up for his defense or the fact he is very undependable.

Yao isn't even being given a chance to get into a rhythm. He can't get the ball, and it's not really his fault. He's getting position and being fronted but our guys seem completely unable to throw a lob. Maybe Adelman told them not to lob. If we depend on Battier/James/Alston/Head jump shooting for the second half.... we will lose.

We need the big guy to attract the defense even when he is attacking so that other people have chances to shoot or drive to the basket. Haven't you seen how many scores we got are related to YAO?

If you have nothing positive to say, just STFU and let us watch the game in peace.

Luther sucks. I wish they would give he who shall go nameless some of his minutes, actually all of his minutes.

Rick and his standard substitution patterns whip us again. Pulling Scola out when Scola was in a zone and playing with more energy than anyone else on the court was r****ded. He did this in the Memphis game in the second quarter and again in the 4th with Tmac and it cost us the game and now it cost us this half. I hate to see a coach not have the capacity to improvise with his substitution patterns. JVG spoiled me with that.

    ESPN ba$tards.

They're trying to say that Duncan is owning Yao at center, when in actuality, he's been guarded by Oberto and Elsion.

Solid first half, especially considering Yao's play. I am loving Scola's production. He and Bonzi need to see the court a lot more in the second half.

Problem is nobody can throw a lob pass to him...he wasted so much energy on getting position.

See that Spurs defender hanging in the paint behind Yao vaguely guarding Scola/Battier/Hayes?? Yeah, he is waiting on the lob so he can tap it out(probably hitting Yao on the arm but no call will be made) and start a Spurs break. That is why you cant just lob it to Yao.

Yao made quite a few good defensive plays. But with Alston, Head, James on the floor together, we won't get any rebounds, offensively and defensively.

They started the run with offensive boards after their misses and blocked shots.
