I can't imagine how we can pull off this win without Tracy. We'll see.

Rockets won a game against the Spurs last season without T-Mac.

Rafer, Head, Battier, Hayes, and Yao started. Bonzi did his thing off the bench.

hopefully tmac just misses these next 2 games and come back next wednesday.

i really hope bonzi will shine, james can get his shot back, and francis gets a chance to play, and yao takes on a bigger role, and we could win a game or maybe 2.

w/ all teh bad luck we have, we need some good ones.

but we're capable. our role players just haven't stepped up. if they do, we could win.

but i really wanna see how we play as a team regardless of losing/winning.

The only way we win this game is if Yao throws some rim rocking facials on Tim Duncan's mug.

My point against the Spurs is late in the game, we will stop scoring. Same song umpteenth verse when Tracy doesn't play. I can see them toying with us for a half and then delivering the death blow some time in the 3rd quarter or to start the 4th. If we hang close later, that means we put together an supremely energetic effort.

Spurs by 20, if rick decides to put stevie in, we might just lose by 10.

any chance that Adelman plays Francis in order to not completely disrupt the rotation (playing time) while TMAC is out?

It almost happened the first SA game, but we managed to find enough scoring with McGrady misfiring. Yao made several crucial baskets against Duncan late in the game, and Duncan has been struggling badly. They don't really double or front Yao. They still have no answer for Bonzi. Mike James has to find his shot eventually, Rafer too (maybe). I think our best chance to win one of the next three games is against SA.

T-mac comes back and scores 50 pts with left hand only. Rockets win 90 - 85.

    Seriously, L3 sounds more realistic.

seriously though.. we have a longshot chance. having bonzi helps, and if our guard play steps up, we could make it a game. still, I see a loss.

we will just have to see how it all plays out...i would love to see francis get some minutes off the bench to prove that he belongs in the rotation, i would also love to see brooks in the offense but his defense is so so.......i would like to see brooks penetrate on offense and break down the D

Exactly. Yao usually fair a lot better against teams that dont surround him quick, little guards.

Plus we have..........Bonzi the Spurs Killer!
