What's the deal with Brent Barry, he's still on the team but does he practice or suit up?

I'm sure a LOT more women than men hav those names.....so for the average person it would remind them of a woman WAY more...esp Stacy...

But being a huge fan of one Tracy McGrady has its influence on that.......

If Budinger becomes what Brent Barry was when he was younger, I would be overjoyed. Young Brent Barry was crazy.

Mandry beasted, like i knew he would. Some ppl think andersen did bad. i THink, coming from europe, it will take time for him to settle in. But i do think he will eventually settle in. Ariza on the other hand worries me. I dont know what happened out there but he did not have his game going. Im hoping this is bc of nervousness of being called on to create. Could this be one of MOrreys mistakes? i dont think so, but judging by this performance Ariza is not ready to take that step.

I'm sure a very small percentage of those are men. If I created a poll : When you hear the name Tracy or Stacy do you think male or female? Female would be the choice by a landslide. Not sure what your background is, but for most people I don't think its common to think male when hearing those names.

Oh come on, it was a slip of the tongue by Bill Worrell made funny because people have been calling him Stacy as a joke for years.

Just got home from the game here in San Antonio. I was overall impressed with the team. Scola and Landry at times looked unstoppable. People sitting around me were asking who the hell Chase Buddinger is. Very disappointed in Andersen. He is not a poor man's Gasol. He is a homeless man's Gasol!

Considering that Morey said that his defense alone is worth the contract, I don't understand how this could be a mistake.

Worst case scenario is that we eventually get another superstar in Houston and Ariza will be part of the young core who will be able to slash, hit the occasional three, and run the break as well as be a great defender for our future SF. I don't see a losing situation unless Ariza completely flops meaning he becomes a bad defender, gives up on basketball and we are stuck with a bad contract.

no...Anderson's much worse than P.Gasol...I'd rather view him as a poorman's Okur.

good point. I just hoped that he could become a focal point. But he does work really good with other super stars he has proven that. But it was just one dang game so things should get better, hopefully.

I also hopes he grows more into a scorers role but considering he has been in the league 5 years and never showed that ability I really don't expect much. I'm perfectly happy with him developing into an even better defender and being a more consistent outside threat while not shying away from the rim.

I think as Rockets fans we must face that team is not going to be very good unless a miracle happens. The most we could expect is for growth and to play hard every night. I'm more concerned that these players develop into excellent role players. We have the pieces now we just need to put healthy superstars around them. If by any chance one of the young studs turns out to be the real deal, then that's great, if not that's great too as long as they keep working on becoming better players (whether that is defense, shooting, passing, etc).

I though Taylor looked better than advertised at the defensive end.

Budinger looks completely comfortable at the offensive end.

We RAN a lot - not sold on either of Temple or Conroy.

Anderson looked ugly shooting the ball, but most of his misses were wide open looks - surely that'll come good?
I thought he made some nice passes to cutters?

Be interesting to see if Pops and Dorsey get some time in the next few games.
