I mean he's 7'5", that's pretty different. I just always enjoyed proving how leverage works to **** talking ass tall guys.

The book on how to guard him is a pretty simple theory. You guard him with a forward that weighs more, not a center who is slower and still can't block his shot anyway. That forward can keep leverage, stay low, deny the ball, cut off his drives and contest his shots. I'll live with it if he just goes off. Him getting dribble drives, lobs, fouls, highlight reel plays is what makes him special. 7'5" finesse Giannis. Make him be 7'5" Steph Curry to have the same level of impact.

 

Pops is definitely losing his touch tbh, I feel like prime Popovich aint letting a cheat code do everything but the one thing that'd make him completely unstoppable (ie, get in close and just dunk over the top of everybody without trying.) Not complaining though, let them be dumb.
