They're making Boban work overtime this game.

This is a make or break year for Sengun. He can't be unplayable against certain teams and he needs to prove that this year. Some pretty bad showings here that remind of of games against Jokic/Nurkic/Sabonis. He's definitely #1 on my "slightly concerned about" list.

Coach should have called that timeout earlier.
I love beating the Spurs. Not tonight.

Nah he was deep in a bag a few minutes ago while someone was shooting free throws.

Having two defensive liabilities in the starting lineup is not necessarily the formula to success either.

Anyway, would you be ok if a player different than Jalen Green ends up deservedly becoming our “go to” player?

What do you mean by okay? If someone else is that means we ****ed up with Green and that's not good for the Rockets.
It depends on how that player ends up being the go to. Is it because of unexpected ceiling we haven't seen of another player or Green just ends up being disappointing? If it's the former ya I'll happy. If it's the later I'll be sad.

Also Green has elite agility and is around 6'5" to 6'6". No reason for him to not be a good defender outside of lazy effort or just having a significantly larger load on offense. If you want Jabari to have the same amount for energy burned as Green does on offense where he's the center of defensive attention and is dribbling and creating that much, he's going to expend more calories on offense and his defensive effort will suffer. Humans also abide by the laws of thermodynamics.

Green is 6’4” lol. I just hope he becomes an efficient offensive player and at least not a huge liability on defense like he’s been.

I hope his jump shot gets consistent. Hard to be successful with a go to option that puts up bricks and doesn’t play defense. That’s Bradley Beal led teams impact. I’m hoping Ime will change that :D

Shooting and defense in the paint were their undoing tonight.
Still like that the guys once again refused to quit.

Jabari Smith continues to be a bright spot, which is good to see.

I wonder if Green is the missing piece that opens up Sengun's offensive game. Green generally runs smoother PnRs with Sengun but I haven't really seen effective PnRs so far that includes Sengun.

I certainly hope so. Sangun has looked like complete a** the last two games.

    he's 6'5-6'6".

Look man. You really can't speak about Green's efficiency when you are comparing him to Bari.

Green has been a significantly more efficient player than Jabari for their respective careers and Green has more defensive attention and takes more difficult shots.

Like a lot of times even the less talented scorer is more efficient than the more talented scorer because the less talented scorer has easier buckets. Like KJ Martin is more efficient than Devin Booker because KJ Martin takes significantly easier shots. You see this all the time in the NBA. The more talented scorer often has a worse efficiency than a lot of less talented role players.

But that isn't the case with Jabari and Green. Green is the one taking significantly harder shots and is still a lot more efficient.
