Maybe should have used my draft strategy:

2nd - Evan Mobley
16th - Jalen Johnson
23rd - Bones Hyland
24th - Usman Garuba or Joe Wisekamp

 

Rockets shooting 36%. Can't find anyone that can make a shot.

 

Once Silas brings out the real plays everything will change

Silas isn't the problem although you people always have remedial blinder on. Tillman need to fire himself, dumpster fire of remediation since he taken over.

 

We can see those great potential from Sengun.

Silas is such a genius.

 

They need to at least look like they are having fun if they want Gordon to come back

 

Jalen green needs to focus on being better than Jordan Clarkson before comparing himself to Kobe. Man is rolling over in his grave.

 

Better than the alternative, NOT PLAYING WELL amirite?

 

Yeah. This is the closest I’ve watched a preseason game yet … so thoughts.

1. It’s a guards league. Our guard tandem isn’t working. Too much inexperience. Not enough shooting. Not enough strength.

2. Jalen needs strength. Kudos to those that were highlighting this issue pre-draft. Jaygup has it. Green doesn’t yet.

3. Sengun needs strength. Then just a little more quick twitch athleticism. He gets no benefit of the doubt calls.

4. Silas is in over his head at this point. Which is VERY surprising cause he handled last year as well as anyone could.

5. We have forwards. They’re ok. But you also forget they’re there at all.

6. KMartJr - that he seems to have regressed so much speaks to coaching to me. And the poor guard play. He can be really good… if he just does what he’s good at and no more. But he doesn’t have a lot of opportunities I just do that cause there’s no system.

Big takeaways - 3 point shooting and just slight improvements would make all the difference between what looks like a poorly organized pickup game and what would be an ok team.

I don’t see meaningful improvement happening the first 20 games at least. Then slow improvement thereafter. But slow.

NO CHANCE OF PLAYOFFS lol. Good news is they shoukd indeed have a top draft pick coming.

 

Where is green? I see him but I don't see him.

 

Glad I came into this thread. Seems like everybody knew everything and everybody has answers. I feel relieved.
