For that mid range shot, I think Josh Smith can make it (off the pass) if he catches it and takes a (one dribble) step back (helps you get in rhythm while still creating space) and gathers himself then shoots it.

The only time I see you ever really needing to step into a shot is off a pump fake (2 step dribble). That 1 step dribble for the mid range pull is better at the top of the key. You can go back for the 3, but I think it requires more time to set up for that shot.

    . . . With Josh . . the Rockets are the Chaos
that disrupts well oiled Ordered Machines

I think the erratic unpredictability is the Rocket's Strength

i dont quite understand. wanna see their starting 5 list first? they'd already said td wasnt gonna play. that other possible changes they're gonna make?

maybe the winning streak w/ the small lineup makes jb thinking a bit too much? or maybe this is just smoke b4 a game?

imo capela will be unable to contain lma effectively. nor will ariza. lma will just get into his spots and shoot mid-range j's over both of them.

we need dwight to play tonight.

    Howard/Ariza/Brew/Harden/Bev

Start off strong, and then go we can go to our traditional for a few min..Howard/Capela/Ariza/Harden/Bev

Take Howard/Ariza out of the game, bring in Jones and Brew

At the end of the Q, take out Bev/Harden, bring in Ty and Thornton.

    Start 2nd Q:
    Howard/Jones/Brewer/Thornton/Ty

Would be an obvious mistake to go back to that lineup.

its not like the spurs aren't notoriously known to sit players unexpectedly

Seems the small ball lineup is really predicated on Ariza continuing to hit 3's at the rate he his.

I'd go with it just to see how long Ariza can keep this up

And why they won't a championship unless it's remedied.

Not sure if you were being Sarcastic or not.. but if not, FIFY.

    T. Jones should be nowhere near the court.

Spurs will probably go to their bigger lineup by playing their 7'3" Center along with Aldridge.

Is it weird that I kind of have a good feeling about us going into this game? That's something I haven't said about the Rockets in a good while.
