rafer put that shot up with 5 minutes to go, the lead was still 12, so that was not a turning point, the spurs did a good job of taking the ball away from the rox best ballhandler which is rafer in the fullcourt press.

i give credit more to san antonio than to rafer or luther screwing up. luther is not a PG, and SA did what they wanted to do...
how much of the game did you watch?

if he can knock that shot down more often, which i think he can, the rockets will be in good shape. that is the most underrated shot in basketball, yet the most affective and probably the least practiced.

Great game tonite. They almost blew it in the end, but all is well that ends well. Just to think, can you imagine what the Rockets will do to the Spurs when the Rockets are healthy.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet (or may be I missed it), but Chuck Hayes did a GREAT job moving his feet and staying in front of Duncan tonight. I was really impressed by his play...love this guy's heart and persistence, he just needs to mature as a player and get some experience under his belt and he will be fine.

Oh, the Jazz lost tonight in heartbreaking fashion...it was beautiful.

Minny is up 2 and Blazers have last shot of the game here...keep your fingers crossed.

I am sorry too.....I am just a little sensitive about all the DD bashing going on lately.

Some of which I undoubtably deserve.....

this is my opinion, but before ginobili was the man who killed us, battier can keep him in check, that might be a big reason why rox have been able to beat the spurs TWICE TWICE, say it again TWICE in the same year in their place. it has been 5 seasons since rox even beat the spurs!!

the rox match up well now against the spurs. and now with bonzi, spur killer, it looks promising

aside from some of the pain stakin substitution patterns of van gundy..........it think thats why it got closer and we almost faltered

chuck hayes is great but save that charge, and duncan single handedly put them back in the game.......he scored on three straight possesions on chuck..........he brought in deke and miraculously duncan starts missing............he waited till 45 secs to bring in deke.....which i didn't understand because he had been on the bench for basically half the quarter.......had he brought deke back in at the 3 min mark of the quarter rocks easily win in a miny blowout............thats the reason we faltered in the end....he had hayes and juwan in and they kept going to the basket

I hope because the rockets are playing so well that TNT will take away some of broadcasts of the Grizzlies games and give em to the rockets.

what? 3 straight possessions? we weren't watching the same game. hayes got the charge on duncan, deke was going to come in but vg let hayes play. it was howard who was scored on 3 straight times.

hayes got a big charge call, did you see that? and no deke didn't make duncan miraculously miss, he had one big play with like 10 seconds left where duncan couldn't quite get the shot over him.

boohoo, the substitions were fine at the end, spurs played good d

What I noticed during the game is TMac began to hit free throws! :D If you looked closely, you would have seen him release the shot a little bit slow than before, which indicated his more careful play imo.

You are an idiot and post too much. Thank you. It gives me something to read.

Were you at the Toros game tonight? That mess up by the mascott looked pretty funny on news8.
