Ginobili helped get that call on Lowry by running through him. I think it would have been a good no call since both players were running into each other.
I know the NBA is full of cheating, rigging and whatever but this game is so far not rigged. The double-dribble was either caused by a Spurs hand making it seem that way or he Lowry in fact did it. The moving by Lowry was plain stupid and the right call.
It was definitely an illegal moving pick by Lowry, but then again the Spurs have been setting moving picks all night too. I didn't see that double dribble though.
Not to play devil's advocate, but we only have 3 more fouls than them. Luckily SA is having an off night at the FT line so the fouls are actually working in our favor...I think... Now the TOs on the other hand...
Refs are happy blowing whistles, that's actually a good thing for Rockets, they play worse in physical situiation. Plus TD can't make FTs.
sean elliot is as homer as homer comes when it comes to announcing. he and heinsohn are top notch. when they beat the thunder by 1 in OT the other day, sean was practically about to cry about the terrible treatment his spurs were getting. he even stopped announcing for about 30 seconds he was so mad (he said that's what he was doing, i'm not just guessing). if the thunder could have pulled that game out i would have been so happy. a guy who has been rooting for guys who get as many calls as duncan, ginobili, and parker should just shut up. and any announcer should whine like a b**** less than he does.
anyone else see the clock not start from the pass inbounds until he was done dribbling to mid court? wtf
It's not just the number of fouls, it's the timing. The refs can kill momentum with a call or no-call here or there. You have to actually watch the game to see it though.
