    battier shuts durant down. green has a decent game. scola erupts for 24pts, 7rbds and 2 stls.

    tmac goes 6-18 but goes to the line and shoots at least 8 fts.

    These playoffs are really gonna come down to who is peaking with their momentum at the right time. It seems like after the streak ended our momentum came to a screaching halt, we need these games to start oiling ourselves back up for that final push against PHX, Utah and Denver. If we can do that hopefully we can get some of our mojo back and do something in the first round. At this point, if we get out of the first round, it'll feel like we won the championship.

    ...and maybe it'll allow enough time for Yao to make a Willis Reed type entrance in the second round...yeah I'm dreaming but its a nice dream.

    the spurs were SUCKING prior to this winning streak. obviously we knew we were going to hit some rough patches after the winning streak b/c it's hard to stay at that high level for a 2-3 month stretch. hopefully this last 8-9 games, we'll pick it up again.

    our defensive energy was better last night, but still lax in a few crucial stretches. we'll see how the team ends the year.
