So THAT is what TEAMBALL looks like.

A balanced attack with a win against a team that had won all 3 games.

Nice.....and Boki is someone who SHOULD be playing more often.

With our victory over the Sonics, the Kings loss to the Nuggets and the Spurs victory over the blazers, looks like the ROX are playing the SPURS in the first round!! :(

    We're screwed!

I have no clue. He used to be a Rocket killer with the Clippers. Now, he still is a Rocket killer because he can't hit a shot for ****.

    Impossible.

The first 2 seeds are division winners, we are playing Sacremento.

I agree. I've seen more passing tonight than I've seen all season. Reminded me of the championship days to some degree.

    Oh yea!

I like the Hedo comparison. He kinda reminds me of a combination of Brent Barry/Hedo Turkoglu.

Especially that long sride Boki has!

the glimpse of post SF/Cat era

the glimpse of post SF/Cat era

JVG is a very intelligent man. He picked the super bowl incident to hit SF's popularity. And now using this Seattle game to showcase what a real inside-out scheme should be like.

With a bunch of too raw or too old "role players", Houston got a great offensive outing. Yao actually behave like a leader on the court.

Stevie's gloomy face on the bench showed that, at the last, he is not that dumb. He knows that, after a first round playoff out, he will be traded.

Most enjoyable game of the season.

Cheerleaders of the game: Mobley & Francis.

Player some people on this board thought sucked but is actually pretty good: Nachbar. I was impressed by his defense on Rashard Lewis who routinely is known for lighting us up. Not to mention he was clutch with his defense drawing key charges on Allen and Murray late in the 4th, in addition to draining a three giving the Rockets a slight separation from the Sonics with a 5 point lead late in the 4th. Jerry West Jr. anyone? ;) ;) ;) From an observation standpoint his shot is great and it only appears to be off when he doesn't get much lift from his legs up in the air. In other words he misses when he gets lazy and doesn't get a full extension from his legs on his jumpshot. Otherwise you can call makes the moment you see the ball leave his hands.

Floor leaders of the game: Jackson duo. Jim Jackson got the Rockets motors running with 18 points in the 1st quarter to kick start the team, while M. Jackson orchestrated a beautiful game that for the most part was an under control tempo. He routinely made a conscious effort to get the ball into the hot hand at the time. He fed JJ in the first, MoT in the 2nd, Yao in the 3rd, and took over in the 4th along with help from Boki, Yao, and JJ.

The reason this was the funnest game of the season for me to watch? It was nice to see our bench get some much deserved playing time and look at the joy our starters out tonight had rooting the team on the bench pretty much standing up with cheers the whole night. They really looked like they were having fun, which is something I in response enjoyed. Win or lose, I was fully prepared to give those guys out there tonight all the love and respect in the world. They're my Houston Rockets! And watching the Sonics lose who have historically had our number with their best on the floor while our "benchwarmers" gave their all topped it all off. Another thing I was amazed at was just how quick Wilks is. He pretty much ran 90 feet in 3 seconds flat all the while going through obstacles just to get a final shot off at halftime that he was rewarded FTs with. That's heart. That's passion. That's my Houston Rockets!

    :D

Wow rockets win the game without Francis and Mobley. Told you they were useless and need to go this offseason. Couldn't beat seattle all year but do so when Francis and Cat sit out.

I enjoyed this game from the start to the end. Nearly everyone on this Forum knows why! But most of all I saw Team Basketball and the Rockets beat the Supersonics for the first time this season, something they couldn't do when they played that other style of Basketball.

    1. This was a meaningless game and our core players needed rest. [Yao and Jimmy shouldn't have had to play that many minutes]
    2. gloomy face? He was up throughout the whole game cheering the players on.

Yeah. I foresee JVG sitting Francis and Mobley for at least one of the playoff games.

The real fun is going to be trying to guess which one.

    Joy.

Should have rested JJ. He's 33 and arguably more important come playoffs than Cat.
