Nick: I think you're off here. I'm no fan of Steve Francis but he's one of the toughest players in this league. We were completely out of the playoff race and the guy still suited up most nights while battling migraines. Most people would be passed out in a dark room with that much pain.

What's your point? I wasn't comparing T-Mac and Francis, I was simply stating that you can't question Francis' toughness. I wasn't comparing the two...

I know cab... I actually wanted to take back the migrains part, because I remember how much he was suffering.

But, I stand by the rest of those instances... and the super bowl and birthday incident came when his team was in the midst of a playoff run.

Never seen anything like that, where the refs take away two made free throws seemingly several plays later (or was I not paying enough attention on when they did it?)

38 points for T-Mac, no more.

Did Worrell say "he's all ours" or are you guys saying it?
Because when Yao did that behind the back pass, Worrell said "he's 7'6" and he's all ours"

So...they just took away McGrady's free throws? I'm confused...

EDIT: never mind, I got it

Yea true. Steve's biggest vices are that he's a moron and very irresponsible. He's not really a great player either. Pretty good, yeah. Once he's out there though, I don't think there's anyone tougher.

As far as McGrady - I still can't believe people didn't want this guy last summer because they were worried about who would be our backup center. This was the heist of the century. And you just KNOW this guy is going to go NUTS in the playoffs.

You're right Clutch. They waited until after the timeout to take the free throws away. There was a delay of at least 3 minutes

Wait...If they take those free throws away shouldn't they give the rox another possesion to make up for it. i know it doesn't matter, but in a close finals game...the refs would need to get bodyguards.

All in all they shouldn't have made a stupid mistake like that.

Oh well. Yao gets the 2 points instead of Mac. He got to practice his free throws for free
