wow. why is it such a terrible label to be called a jumpshooting team? no one said anything about not being able to win like that. calm down man.... this team is not comprised of slashers and bangers, it's made up of guys like james, wesley, barry, and padgett who are relied upon to knock down JUMPERS. if the rockets aren't making outside shots how many games have you seen them drive it to the hole and start up the running game to win? i'm gonna guess not too many. yes t-mac takes it to the rim and he creates and he's an amazing player but he's a freakin jumpshooter, he's just damn good at it. jordan finished his career(as a bull) as almost strictly a jumpshooter. it doesn't have to be a negative label.

the rockets don't score every point on jumpshots but to say that's not a HUGE part of their offense is even more ridiculous. i guess it just depends on your definition of a jumpshooting team.

ok i was just peeved for no reason sorry. I guess it's not that bad, but i was under the impression you were defending mark jackson who DID use it as a negative label.

And i guess we'll have to deal with being a "jumpshooting" team until tmac/yao retires, because the only players we're going to sign are guys who will hit the open jumpshot. And yes, they're going to get plenty.

it's all good, i didn't see jackson's actual comments. saying we're strictly a jumpshooting team is wrong but i think it's fair to say that we basically live and die with how our well our shooters do. however our team is labeled doesn't really matter.

ESPN sportscenter host: "That was a great behind the back move by Lebron". (Then they replay it in slow motion)

I think Yao played with effort every game, but he's too banged up and have all kinds of nagging little bruises and the legs never have chance to heal yet.

When someone dunks on him is when you'll see him again on Sportscenter.

mark jackson doesn't like jump shooters because he never took a jump shot in his life. he's the only player to never pick up his feet a millimeter off the ground when shooting a shot. i mean really, we're a jumpshooting team? he means to tell me that we've been jumping when shooting this whole time? but thats what you do when you shoot the ball right? what team is not a jump shooting team? other than miami pounding it into shaq half the time, what team is not a jump shooting team> everyteams a jump shooting team. the guy does not like it when people jump up off the ground to shoot the ball. he loves mario elie for his set shot. other than that he don't have no friends because they all jumped when they shot the ball. him and mario elie, thats it. they're starting a basketball camp 'called the lost art of the granny set shot'. but nobody will show up and mark jackson is mad and angry at jump-shooters.

    LOL! good stuff:D :D

But seriously, ANYTHING Marc Jackson says that is bad about the Rockets is a good thing. I would only start to worry when he starts to praise us.

Here is all you need to know about Marc "Preacher-man" Jackson: when that T-Mac interview with Stephen A. Smith was aired, Jackson said that he applauds the Magic management for being "above this" (apparently he didn't do his homework to learn that Weisass has blasted McGrady for months before T-Mac even replied and cursed him back)
