Rockets had 41 shots plus 12 FTs, Yao shot 4 times after torching Seatle for 30 points last time. I don't know what's going on.

we don't want to get in a running game with them. thats for sure.

if things agerage out in the second half, yao will score more and our defense will pick up. it should be close down the stretch.

The Rox may win this, but still -- does anyon e really want a Best of 7 with them? Or the Mavs? Could be Spurs or Suns. Ouch.

I don't think that Yao deserves to get the ball.

If your 7'6" center is that kind of passive on the court, and cannot keep your ass off the bench due to stupid fouls, why should Howard, James et al give him the ball?:p

I think that this will be a great way to make Yao a mean player. Give him the ball 3-4 times a game for as long as possible, then see whether he becomes mean on the court and demand the ball. Otherwise, trade him and let him be the head case of other teams in the league.

yeah they just keep making shots when they're open. pretty r****ded :) lol jk Rockets are still better than them.

Yao could really own inside. If we ran plays just to get Yao an easy opportunity for bucket..I think we could own them. I don't think tehy can stop Yao unless they resort to hacking..and then we don't get the foul calls.
Tmac is doing good he should take over alogn with Yao. I think eh can.
James wow he turns it over al ot but they're like darn turnovers..like not boneheaded like Steve..just goes so quick that I guess he turns it over because he forces action and then has no where to go. But he really can score..make shots..he's quick and strong.
I think Howard is doing a good job on Rashard. Tmac..not really a good job.
Mutombo, Barry, Padgett, and Bowen have done a good job off the bench.
Really the only reason we sorta came back and we're not being blown out is becasue they took Ray ALlen out. WHEW

I really think we can beat them. We just can't let people like Evans or Radmanovic or Ridnour score. And then we just need to shut down Rashard and Ray ALlen.

Then on offense..I think we should give it to Yao. He seriously needs to take over..or Tmac can take over. Just run team offense..be calm and eventually we'll take over if we play defense.

Basic duh strategies...I hope we can win.

Or maybe he just invited the ref to his Mom's restaurant. The guy said, nope, no big fan of Chinese food. Yao said, come on, what you tried before was americanized Chinese food, ours are authentic. Ref: are you sure? As sure as every trip down, one or two guys fouled me twice at least. Ref: hmm, that's interesting. I will give a try. But I am warning u, if u lied to me, next time I will foul you out before half time. Yao: what if you like it? Ref: well, I will call 75% fouls on you as it is:D

If Yao could not take more than 10 shots in this game, I say fire JVG.

    Uhh... yeah, I still do.

Teams that rely on nothing but good shooting, are not going to be all that great in the playoffs.

They have better defense than the Suns... but its still not that good either.

$20 says we make a point at the start of the second half by force feeding yao and letting him dominate the first 5 minutes of the 3rd......well at least i hope so.

Make what point? Yao is only good for 5 minutes and 3 shoots?

When the team is shooting 53% and is still 10 points behind, the problem might not be the offense.

Well, we'd have to have Nash to have Amare be effective.
