I'm very pleased how we overcame the comeback by the Sonics in the fourth quarter. Yao did very well on both ends down the stretch and T-Mac played like a superstar.
I hope this win will increase our confidence and lead to some consistency. Hopefully when Sura gets back we will be even better.

Why you got to ruin the party. Lets just enjoy this win for a day or so before we begin bashing Yao.

You know mister, most of us are just relieved to see Yao doing well and finally stepping up in clutch times to lead us to a win. Don't spoil the fun for us! :D

At least enjoy the time when he does deliver. Too hard on both Yao and yourself.

well you make a good point but you are stating it in a negative manner. yao has his games where he asserts himself we all realize that and you are right about him needing to be reminded of it. he still is a young player you must remember that. but for you to say he deserves nothing is a lil pathetic i have to say. if it was not for him we would not win this game

Wesley did a great job in the 2nd half. Most of Allen's damage were from the 1st half, especially the first quarter... he and Lewis were just hitting 3's like it's the 3 point fest.

Hell yeah! That's what did it for Yao. He was pissed off!

It was hilarious. Almost as bad as the Vlade-Flop! The commentators kept saying how Yao lowered his shoulder into James. My ass! Good job Yao. In your face James! :D

You don't how many times I kept yelling similar things to the TV. :D Man! I wanted the Rox to beat these guys soooo bad. They beat us the last time when we were down (missing Sura). We would have won that game if we had James or Sura.

Very true. They better get ready!

If people are going to hack and flop when guarding Yao, he needs to put his shoulder in their chest everytime...

..as soon as a defender begins to give ground to a post player, the post player has every advantage from the refs for the rest of the night.

All of the great centers know this and I hope tonight went a long way in showing Yao that he might get called for it 2 or 3 times a night, but he'll have his way the rest of the time.

I got no fear. I take pride in defending every single one of them even when we were 6-11. :D :) Anybody defending Sura and Juwan back in December deserves a front row seat on that bandwagon! ;)

    You got that right!
Westley really locked in on Allen. And Bowen really caused a lot of trouble for their shooters.

One of the best NBA games ever, a fan's delight. Great, great basketball. Can you remember any game like this last year?

Ming didn't get the ball as much as he should have, but he played aggressively. Yes, aggressively. Wow, I love saying that. TMac was all world, but the role players made a real difference. Wesley's and Bowen's defense. Barry's clutch shots. James was a little wild but made some key baskets. A truly "clutch" game. I really enjoyed it. I have only one question; why oh why did the Rockets pass on Lewis. One of dumbest moves ever. He is the real deal and almost won it. Whew!

Oh my god. You need to take a chill pill. Without Yao Ming, Seattle wins tonight imho. To be honest, he put this team on his back in the 4th quarter and the other guys fed off him. At the beginning of the quarter, nobody including T-Mac could hit anything. Then Yao gets hammered by Fortson, responds with a monster slam and drives the team to victory. Yao proved a lot tonight imho. Starting with 5 minutes left in regulation seattle's crowd was loud and on their feet. This was a playoff type game, and a playoff type atmosphere. Did Yao shy away when crunch time arrived? No, he took the team on his back and carried this team offensively down the stretch and made key defensive plays as well.

I would hate to be you. You have set the bar so high for Yao Ming that no matter what he does, you expect more, and can't be happy. Yao Ming played like a superstar in the 4th quarter and you still come on here and can't be happy/give him credit. This is why people can't stand posts like that. I saw the 4th quarter. When the game mattered, Yao Ming carried this team to a monster road win kicking off a huge 4 game western swing for the team. Why not instead of criticizing him when he played well, you actually sit back and enjoy this huge road win.

    What a win!
6 points allowed in the 3rd qtr. Van Gundy is a stingy b*stard. :D
I like our chances in the playoff if we face Seattle. They have outside shooting and quickness, but we have them too. We have inside presence that we can slow the ball down, and they dont have that.
Now back to the negatives in the game. James is another shoot first guard. We didnt come out with energy in the first qtr, late on the rotation and esp Howard was sleepling defending out there.
We tightened up the fence and with luck going our way, we gave a Seattle a Franchise record. How sweet. I wonder where the Seattle trolls are now. Two words to you guys, sweet justice. Man I am glad that the ref didnt fall for James cheap flop on Yao in the end. Yao came up big. We do need to go to Yao sometimes down the strecch for buckets. Tonight we found them.
