    Roxs win!!!

T-mac comes back with a monster game!

Yao should get big numbers since the Sonics have no one on the inside.

    Roxs 99
    Sonics 89

This will certainly be a telling game:

Do the Rockets have enough gas in their old tanks to win two nights in a row?
    ....against tough opponents?
    ... on the road?
....in the middle of a 6-game road trip?
... in the Pacific time zone?

This game will be an indicator of just how tough we are.

26th! As in my first time being #26!

    ......

Bring on number 5. The team is soooo much better with TMAC. Going from averaging in the 80's in points to 97!

    The Rockets are back baby.

How long will DA be out? He is averaging 10 ppg.
    Still Rockets win 98 - 90

We have to win, because the we play the two L.A.'s back to back this weekend. Hopefully we can get a split at least at the Staple Center. 5-1 on this trip would be huge!

Hate to be pessimistic but look at the splits for tmac and yao so far this season.

In games played with 0 days of rest, Tmac is averaging 10 points on 30 percent shooting with 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 TOs, 3.5 assists, no blocks and 0.5 steals

With no rest, Yao averages 18 points on 55 percent shooting, and 8.8 rebounds. 0.3 blocks and 4.5 TOs

Compare that to McGrady on two days rest is averaging 31 points on 49 percent shooting, 7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 TOs, 1.7 steals and 2 blocks

And Yao on 3 plus days of rest averages 25.5 points on 62 percent shooting, 10 rebounds. 1.5 TO's and .5 blocks (with two days rest he averages almost 3)

This is interesting too: McGrady plays a lot better when he starts at guard (I'm assuming this is the lineup where Bowen starts).

in 5 games at forward, he has averaged 22.4 points on 38 percent shooting, 7 rebounds, 4 TOs and 4.8 assists

In 7 games at guard, he has averaged 25.1 points on 45.5 percent shooting, 7.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.9 TOs.

In one back to back game he was injured. In the other back to back (Pistons) he got hurt and only played the first half. Also, he's not in game shape, so back to backs are tougher. Once he gets in game shape, he'll be fine. Check out his career stats on back to backs
