I like Yao's technical foul. Refs gave him more respect after that.

as or more important that he got the rebound or the ball and Sonics got to foul.

WTF is Magic talking about? "JVG did a great job by taking Stromile Swift out of the starting lineup and putting in Ryan Bowen"

Best back to back so far in Ming's career, I am really proud of him tonight. He showed some fire, made some clutch shots, clutch free throws, and some very athletic moves. Two solid games in a row. TMac is playing into shape and, at times, is Jordanesque. The Swift dunk was sick. He made several excellent plays tonight, seems to be getting into the flow. Luther does alot of little things that make big contributions. Howard had his best game of the year. The team is starting to believe.

Great win for us, 5 in a row baby! I don't complain about those bogus calls on Yao anymore. I just accept it cos I know it will never change no matter what he does. He just has to play through it and tonight he delivered.
Great games by Yao-Mac and solid games by our roleplayers. Juwan was money on those midrange shots, Swift looks more and more comfortable out there and Moochie! Wow!

When you wow one of the clutchest players to ever play (RMiller that is), you know you're damn good.

TMac is one of a kind, truly one of a kind, forget all the comparos, this man is just freakin' amazing and unique, the most unique player in the league.

It's amazing that you watch him as a fan game in and game out and he does this stuff all the time like it's nothing, but you still can't help but be in awe, just enjoying the show, and sometimes I think opponents and T-Mac's teammates get caught up in watching the show as well.

    Crazy man, crazy...

Yao Ming is going to be a 20/10 player this season. I'm confident of that. He is really improving. To think he is as good as he is even when the refs screw him so bad really makes you apperciate the dude.

Mcgrady - what can you say. I've never seen a player like him.

These last two games have been two of the better back to back basketball games I have seen. Great entertainment. The bad thing is with the late starts
and great games, my neighbors probably hate me.

JVG did start Swift alongside Howard in one game a few weeks back(I think it was against the Bulls). Did he pull Swift for Bowen in the following game?

Back to this game, great win by the Rockets. 4-0 on this road trip is really impressive. Yao's technical was a big momentum swing. He needs to show that kind of emotion more often. The refs will back down if he gets pissed at those BS fouls.

If they can take care of business at home the rest of this month, they could be flirting with .500 by the New Year, just like last season.

Yao had two solid, solid outings in a row, possibly the best he has played in his career.

Loved the emotion, he needs to sometimes get that technical to get his message across, but he will need to learn how to time it to get the most 'bang for the buck'.

The two best teams are coming up, I think we're going to split.

    A few things...

    • The Sonics have talent, but don't play the right way. A lot of has to do with coaching I think. They are missing a big man...but they played terrible tonight I thought. Offensive boards kept them in it.
    • I really don't think Ray Allen has "it". Such a great shooter, but not all that clutch and doesn't know when to shoot and when to go to the basket or get others the ball. Once again, that could be coaching.
    • Mcgrady, on the other hand, has "it". I think we all know this. :)
    • Watching the game tonight made me really appreciate JVG. He may not be the favorite guy in the media or with players, but he is damn smart. He knows when to let Mcgrady handle things, and when to stick with what is working. He is a top 5 coach in this league IMO, especially when you see what Bob Weiss was doing tonight.
    • Swift (and the team as a whole) is finally starting to turn the corner. I'd like to see him improve his rebounding though. I am finally starting to think we can do it with Swift and Howard.
    • See the sig (maybe minus the trade part) - this team is going to be LETHAL when we get Sura (hopefully) and Alston back.

That's a good point. They did ref him different after that. But did they give him a technical? I was too wrapped up in listening to Craig Ackerman go crazy
during that part of the game. If they did, he needs to do that more often. It works. If the refs think they got a hot head on their hands they are going to watch him more carefully and call the foul so he doesn't lose it.

With T-Mac back, I'm certain that we'll get well into the playoffs this year.
