It is really tough to watch this team. I really haven't seen any change from last year. I am glad Rudy isn't here to or else he would be blamed for this. In the recent past, I advocated the need for patience. I really believed this team needed some time but I do not believe this team has the passing skills and the IQ necessary to bring the title back to Houston. Change is necessary and wasting any more time just pushes back progress for this team.

    By the way, Go ROCKETS!

l apologize if I offend you. Didn't everyone say that we can be a 6th seed in Western Conference before the season starts? Now we can't even make playoff after losing a couple of games on road? Yes, we are not at the same level as Spurs, but Rockets is still a better team than Warriors, Nuggets, Jazz, Grizz, Suns, Sonics.

Let's stop arguing, Rockets has 66 more games to prove that they deserve to be in PLAYOFF.

Time to trade Mobley for a point guard and slide Steve to the two. I've been converted to the "Francis is not a point guard" crowd.

Keep Mobley, trade Francis and bad contracts (Mo Taylor and Moochie) for Wallace + (+ = players in final year of contracts). Enter the Kobe Sweepstakes!

Though Rockets have not beaten a good team this season, they are yet to lose to an inferior team (except Grizzlies). This is already an improvement compared to last season. We are not a Contender yet, but we have all the tools to make playoff this season.

    GO ROCKETS!

I am not offended. I am just shocked that some Rox fans cheer for GS, Denver, Memphis instead of Spurs, Mavs, Kings, Lakers.

we are in the race for one of the bottom seed in the west. Every team except the top 4 (or 5 if you include Twolves) and clippers post threat to us. I want these competitors lose every game agains the top 4 or east teams, or Clippers. That way, we have a better chance.

Huh? Really? I see a ton of improvement since the last 5 years.

Yes, that means, from 1999 until 2002 very little improvement.

But since JVG took over I do see a concerted effort to change the way the Rockets have played. More team oriented and less individualistic. Sure, we have bad habits, but there still is a difference.

The "losing" part still hurts the same.

i think the reason why they're cheering for the gs, nugs, griz instread [including myself] is because they don't like the spurs, mavs, kings, lakers and they don't want them to have a better w-l number. but now that you voiced your views, i'm with ya. gj

Post of the year!! A five game road trip shouldn't rip the Rockets apart.

Bottom line - Francis is not the star player lots of people in here believe. He is a good player (nothing more - nothing less)

If we can package him along with Cat, or MoT or Cato, or anybody except Yao for an actual star then pull the trigger.

If there was a category for just point guard, I'd vote for Steve Nash. However, guard is an ambiguous category, so Kobe and Ginobli were my choices.

Would it help the Rockets if they hired Calvin Murphy as a teams counselor or mentor and have him give afew lessons about how to play the game?

Stop blaming Francis 4 the loss. Francis was our best player. If his teamates would hit shots, he would have alot more assists. Yao isnt a god ok. He is a Good player, but not a great one. So sick of the francis bashes..
