The main difference is that Durant has a jumper, LeBron's best point is still his slashing.

Is it just me or did last night's game have the most Lord of the Rings looking people on the court EVER?

Frodo Ridnour, Irish Uruk-hai Swift, and Aragorn Scola.

Bulter looks like a 6'10'' dwarf with his beard, too.

Does Durant remind anyone else of a young Danny Manning except with no conscience on offense?

ok, i give u durant had a better J (but it looks like he'll struggle to shoot 42% this year).

but durant didn't have bron's explosiveness, penetration, low-post game, court-vision.

so really, who had the polished game?

a jumper does not make your game more polished. that's not the only part of anyone's offensive game u do know that right?

again, those guys based off of COLLEGE games.

they also said oden would be a top 5 center right away and has the potential to be one of the greats EVER without playing one NBA game.

u will hear the same about OJ mayo, kevin love, eric gordon when they abuse the college game next yr.

how about basing your opinions on NBA games? :D .

What? You've got to be kidding that you don't know R2K's tracking website. Only 2007 posters may not know this.

P.S. It's not working now, maybe R2K is uploading stuff.

LOL! Actually, I do have it bookmarked but I couldn't get it to work either, so I presumed he may be using a different link or, as you said, is still working on it (the full game torrent, that is).

I am patient, just wondering ;)

    Guys RELAX.

Again like I've pointed in past blogs. It's preseason.

So far the Rockets have looked bad versus a New Orleans Team that most people believe won't even make the playoffs

Good against a Greek team that didn't know the rules.

Good against a team of scrubs from Dallas

And now they've played well against a Sonics team that will battle for last in the West this season.

    We haven't been tested.

Rafer is still Rafer. Chuck Hayes is still Chuck Hayes.

When the level of competition is raised to NBA level the same problems we have had will come back to light.

You are putting to much stock into what you are seeing from the starting 5 and certain players getting minutes.

Oh yeah in my previous blog when I said Chuck cant rebound. Dude last season he averaged 6 rpg. That sucks. And for a guy who can't score and his focus is defense and rebounding he needs to have at least 9rpg to compensate for his lack of scoring.

and the statement about me spelling words wrong and what not... It's a blog... It's not a book report... Be anal about the message...not the words...

Finally got to watch the game this morning after I DVR'd it.

Yao was off...who cares? He's gonna dominate this year...I like all the different looks he's getting in this offense.

T-Mac was incredible. He really does look lighter, faster, and most importantly, it looked like he was having fun playing again. That reverse dunk he tried after blowing by his man was sweet. Too bad he got smacked in the face.

Luis Scola is even better than advertised. Someone else wrote that you really have to watch him play to understand how much he brings to the team. VERY true. Easily 1st team all-rookie. He won't get ROY b/c he's not flashy and he's a 27 y/o foreign-born player, which is a shame.

    Rafer..jeez flashbacks to last year...

Mike James looks great. I don't see the selfishness that others seem to see when they watch him play. It's nice to have a PG that can finish...

Francis still looks pretty uncertain out there. I think he won't get many minutes in the beginning of the season, but will end up working his way into the rotation at some point.

I was hoping to see Mike Harris...Novak still looks like too much of a liability of defense to get any time.

Nice game from AB...damn he's quick!

Some people are just negative, it's preseason at least be neutral the season hasn't started, people will judge negatively after 4 games but positively no it's just preseason then

But LeBron was stronger and more athletic. Better vision. Basically, better at everything except shooting.
