Durant is good but his decision making is not quite there yet. For example, he attack the hoop unconsciously...meaning he doesn't think or has a 2nd option...when he makes up his mind to drive to the hoop....he's going to do it even against a lot of bodies inside...that's why he got call for a charge. And another time...should be charged as well. He's just too raw. But a hell of a shooter though and very athletic.

i guess the Sonics are already planning to tank this season and let KD chuck it up 30 times a game.

i said they're taken more seriously b/c of the hype. when players are hyped, u focus more on them (do u wanna talk about reggie bush? did u remember the hype he came in? :D . did we have high expectations for him? :D , how that turn out so far?)

and that 24-25ppg prediction is actually more ridiculous than whatever u think i said is ridiculous :D

which is exactly my prediction as before :D . rofflesaurus must have a crystal ball for all his predictions b/c i don't see ANYTHING that he sees.

he said durant's game is polished? the only thing polished is his stroke.

and yes, if he doesn't add handles/other moves, he prollie might be a rashard lewis type of player. good shooter at his size. but then rashard has a very good low post game.

Eh, Butler looked better tonight than any of the other games I've seen this year, which is not saying much... add his departure to the cost of Scola and call it good.

Novak would still have potential if he was playing in JVG's system. He was drafted for that system and now it's gone, as is Novak I think.

Sura is a given and no room for Lucas, so he's gone.

I think Reed is probably the 5th, so that leaves:

    Yao
    TMac
    Scola
    Battier
    Rafer
    Mike
    Steve
    Brooks
    Deke
    Chuck
    Bonzi
    Luther
    Kirk
    Carl
    Harris

I completely agree with you except I think (hope) Snyder will be gone (by trade). That will open a spot for Butler or Novak. Otherwise, I bet your list is THE list.

Anyone who thinks durant will avge 25 this year is an bonafide idiot.. 25 in the west?. in a conference with bryant, mcgrady and melo in it. tracy abused durant tonight. it was a demolition job. it just shows the kid is still around 3 years off to where he can compete with the best players of the league.

I would much rather ship out Snyder and try to get back a 2nd rounder and save on his 3 mill in 2008....Novak is cheaper and we wouldn't save as much shipping him out. I would rather see these guys shipped out or cut:

    Sura
    Lucas
    Reed
    Snyder
    Butler

After seeing the games, the cuts don't seem as hard as before. Butler hasn't shown anything....and Snyder doesn't show an understanding of the game. Novak is on the bubble, but at least his 3 point shot is still tantalizing. The harder question is who our main rotation guys are....we have 11 guys that are talented enough to be in a regular rotation......but if Adelman's going with 9...its going to be sad for a couple of guys.

Snyder has some value. he's got a expirer contract. he can be a solid player in a team without much depth. he's atheletic big swingman. best case scenario would be we trade him for a early 2nd rounder like say 32 pick or anything in the 30's. very unlikely though.

Put him along with suras expirer for this year and a team could give us a decent player in return. decent bruiser to backup hayes and scola would be nice..

well, Reed literally hasn't shown much of anything. who knows why? i don't know that Landry is a lock to make the team. he hasn't shown anything that any other 4th string PF can't do. yes, i consider him no better than a 4th string PF on this team. 5th string if Harris indeed makes the team.

Hmm, Look at McGrady's shoe in the 1st pic of him then look at the rest with him in it. He changed his shoe.

Was the 1st pic of him TMac 7s?

How could I have missed posting these photos ??

It seemed Yao Ming is enjoying watching his team's awesome display of some very flowing and fluid offense of the highest order, and not at all perplexed by his uncharacteristically lacklustre and low-efficient performance of low FG% and high foul troubles.

And Luis Scola is just awesome. It was a pity that he did not get his first ever double-double in NBA in this lopsided win.

LOL. kiki said durant will avge 25 a game?. if he did say that then yes, he is an idiot. lebron james who was much more ready made then durant couldnt avge 25 a game in he's rookie season, what makes you think he can?. the kid is still 3 years away from being in that level.

Agree. He may be good he may have a potential. But still 2-3 years to go before he'll be a star

I also think that 25 is too much but the situation is different.
Lebron was on a team who wants to make the playoffs , a better passer so he looked to pass more and with more people who can score around him.
Durant is the clear no 1 option , he is on a bad team , and he will only look to score he is not a playmaker also like Lebron.
