u need ur 2 guys to dominate RIGHT AWAY w/ that schedule. the rest are interchangeable.

and he prollie knows the rotation since tmac starts the 2nd half.

Rockets are in win now mode. No time to develop other players. TMac=Win.

It would seem Scola is our starter.

Could it be that Adleman is trying to see whether Rafer or MJ are the better point guard with the Yao/Scola,Battier/Tmac starting lineup?

    1st half observations:

Tracy is on fire. WOW! Good thing because Yao and Skip are playing stinky.

Scola with a very good bounceback after getting 2 quick fouls. At this moment, I have no concern at all with his ability to rebound. At some point during the season, he will improve the foul and defense issues and become a decent defensive player. His ability to finish in traffic close to the basket is priceless. He totally nukes Chuck in this department. What a breath of fresh air.

Rafer is playing more like the Rafer we all know (and some love). He had two good passes for assists but his inability to convert on offense remains a big liability. As the season goes on, IMO, MJ (and eventually SF) will clearly surpass Rafer in effectiveness.

Kirk Snyder looked awful. What business does he have chucking up two 3 pointers in 5 or 6 minutes of play?

AB showed some flashes on offense. Exciting to watch. He will remain a defensive liability the entire season.

SF is still feeling his way. Let's be patient with him. It's too early to declare he will never find his way on this team.

I'm not worried about Yao. He just had a bad 1st half.

Overall, our offense didn't impress me at all. There wasn't as much motion and cuts as there should have been. If Tracy hadn't been on fire we wouldn't have close to 59 points. The good thing about this game is Seattle is playing hard. This is a real test instead of being just a glorified scrimmage against other players.

If that's the case, I hope they give the start to Rafer. Let MJ come off the bench and be the instant offense for the 2nd unit. That starting lineup has enough firepower.

I just don't like the fact that once he faces some tough defense, he struggles to score or pass the ball out. Show a little dominance 7 6...
