    Not really. Yao is a smart player who is very unselfish, willing to defer to others when he sees a better chance (for others). But that could also mean that he might not be as determined as before in the low post, knowing we have so many offensive tools now. He seems to be "too much" of a teamplayer, does not have a "I will destroy whoevers in my way" mentality. The new offense gives him an excuse to ease down, but Adelman doesn't change his shooting touch. I wish he could remain the same "you can't f@cking stop me" mind. That will make him a real, I mean, REAL superstar.

    He shoots fadeaways because he's not getting the ball in good position. He's either getting it in the high post, where he isn't doing anything, or getting it 13-14 feet away from the basket. He's not doing a great job of sealing his man and the guards aren't passing him the ball. Basically we're back to where we were 2 years ago. This was the result I saw when we hired Adelman. McGrady won't be hot like this every day; where would we be if he were not shooting well?

    Yao needs to be in the low post. I didn't like the Adelman hire from the beginning. If Yao is rendered ineffective by counterproductive tactics this team won't win in the playoffs.

    My guess is that Adelman knows what he wants to do with the front court rotation, and he knows what Yao brings, so he's not pushing the issue during preseason games.

    His biggest priority seems to be figuring out what to do with backlog of backcourt players, and coming up with the right combination. So he's got rotations like Brooks/Francis/T-Mac/Snyder with Yao in the middle. A lineup we probably won't see much of (if ever) in real games, but necessary for the evaluation process at this point, I think.

    tmac should sit. we've seen if he was in great shape and if he had improved his J. and he has done that.

    now let's see the bench. i think the starters will play 30+ mins next week as we approach the first game.

    so let the bench do what they do so adelman knows who to cut.

    Look we have a completly new team and first of all new coach, new strategy. That's easy. The should get their time just to live with it.

    And preseason is also to get into season's shape

    He said that as the season nears he will play the starters more , and the rotation will be like in the regular season.
    I want to see Francis with Yao and T-Mac more , he had a chance for a minute but Rafer came in for him.

    u know why we're better than last yr JVG's team

    we shot 20-47? => a 42% fg % and yet we score 59 pts.

    can u believe that?

    we shoot 42% last yr and we're lucky to break 80.

    I hope Chuck and Luther get some playing time. They worked too damn hard for us the last 2 years and they deserve it.

    I don't think so. Look at his game against Mavs, Panathinaikos. He's got a lot more better positions to score. Tonight it's only all about T-Mac. He just cannot miss
